That first half was as bad as anything we’ve produced all season. Better in the second but I doubt Ralf will sleep easily this evening.

Big respect to Carrick. Not always easy to see when it’s time to go, so fair play for stepping up when asked (getting good results) and departing straight after. Hope he gets a job in the lower leagues to cut his teeth.

For once I have abit of respect for Carrick, I think Phelan should be following him. These guys have been a big part of this shambles and they have to go, it's only right. Carrick has been a terrific player for the club but you have to judge him as a coach and put his playing career to one side.

Let’s try to be a bit better than this. How so? Murtagh should be off. About Carrick. He’s been a top player and has done his best. He’s also behaved with dignity and left at the right time. ‘See Carrick has fucked off’ isn’t really fitting of what he’s done for us for 15 years. |
