I’m here for Ralf for the 6 months. But i don’t think hiring a 63 year old with no real medals in the game is the way forward. I genuinely hope it’s short term and we figure out the next manager . 63 is young nowadays provided you do not expect him to play on the pitch, Rangnick knows his stuff but it will depend how much real backing he gets from the board as to how he improves the team, the board need to back him as they did Ole. As you say he is more of a trouble shooter but if the board believe in him they ought to have someone shadowing him and listening and learning, Rangnick has just been on TV and said that he was not happy with some of the players workrates. He expected them to play as they started against Palace especially as most of the team were rested against Young Boys so no excuses there. We need to get playing and get points while we have the lesser domestic opposition as we have a really tough run in at the end of the season and if we want CL football we need to massively improve.

I kind of agree but I think that Fred could be used better, Scott is solid but limited in my opiion but you do not get to be a Brasilian international if you can not play good football. I think that we are still waiting to see the best from Fred and Rangnick may be the one to get it. I don’t know mate have you watched Brazil recently? They still play good football that England can only dream about, Brazil have a population of 212 million so roughly 4 times the Population of England and Fred gets picked, he can play football allright, he just needs to be used properly..

Ralf will have already worked out Ole’s stat padder, his days are numbered unless he is prepared to start doing the hard yards.

Worst game for Ralf. I don't care who the manager is, McFred doesn't work on any level. Rashford is a major concern now and even Bruno seems out of sorts. We need to find solutions in midfield because it's not good enough. Makes you wonder if Ralf is just weighing it all up first before actually getting stuck in, it looked like an Ole performance but without the conceding from a corner, McKenna was there again in Ralf’s ear I hope that changes soon.

Any word on the Lindelof injury? He looked in a bad way. Guessing a broken rib or something?

I quite like Fred. Same with Scott. But they’re sidekicks, not the main man. I kind of agree but I think that Fred could be used better, Scott is solid but limited in my opiion but you do not get to be a Brasilian international if you can not play good football. I think that we are still waiting to see the best from Fred and Rangnick may be the one to get it. True but even in that Brazil team Casemiro plays the role we so badly need at Utd.

Brazil will get smashed by European teams next year again.

Any word on the Lindelof injury? He looked in a bad way. Guessing a broken rib or something? Jeez! Hope he’s ok. He’s been good recently. I remember having my parents called to take me to hospital because I had really bad tightness in my chest and could hardly breathe while I was playing rugby one day in school games. Ages ago now but still remember it came out of nowhere, no obvious reason for it. Hadn't taken a massive hit or anything and it was an horrendous feeling. Docs couldn't find anything wrong and it just stopped after a while. Hope it passes for Lindelof quickly.

Never had anything like that happen, but I did a fitness ‘comp’ in my old gym once. 12 burpees into doing 75 I had what can only be described as a pain attack. Couldn’t catch my breath. Got rushed to the medics tent they set up, oxygen mask, the works. Got admitted to A&E by St Johns Ambulance, was literally seen by the triage nurse, straight to a doc, nothing wrong and it had passed. Probably the scariest thing that had happened to me until my recent stroke scare.

Rashford has some on the pitch mannerisms and habits that I believe Rangnick can Iron out, infact a few of our attackers are in that boat. Rangnick knows the game well but he will have to get the best of ronaldo, rashford, Sancho and Bruno for us to get anywhere this season. How he does that in the new formation I’m not sure, a monster midfielder is crucial in January. It should hopefully mean people can play in their more natural positions. Rashford although he started as a striker is not really the best option in a 2 with ronaldo and Sancho’s biggest strengths are watered down as a number 10.
Hopefully with a few more games we can look fluid in attack as the game yesterday was awful albeit we got the all needed 3 points

A new manager and a new style completely antithetical to the previous regime, so it'll take some time. It'll happen and in that process the weeds will get pulled out.
Brentford in 2 days will also be challenging and I think Donny may get the start over Bruno for that game. Hope Mason starts over Rashford too.
