Rashford has some on the pitch mannerisms and habits that I believe Rangnick can Iron out, infact a few of our attackers are in that boat. Rangnick knows the game well but he will have to get the best of ronaldo, rashford, Sancho and Bruno for us to get anywhere this season. How he does that in the new formation I’m not sure, a monster midfielder is crucial in January. It should hopefully mean people can play in their more natural positions. Rashford although he started as a striker is not really the best option in a 2 with ronaldo and Sancho’s biggest strengths are watered down as a number 10. Hopefully with a few more games we can look fluid in attack as the game yesterday was awful albeit we got the all needed 3 points Personally, I’m starting to think Rashford will never become the clinical forward we were hoping. He gets into very good positions time and time again and pulls a bit of a Nani almost every time, takes the wrong decision or runs into defenders. With that said, Nani was a valued cracking player, but never hit the world class level.

Something not right in how we are using Sancho there's a better player in there that needs bringing out, Rashford needs a reset remember these players haven't had much if any coaching for a long period under Ole.
You could say we are not giving Mason enough opportunities to get the best from his finishing too partly down to Bruno's drop in form.

Wasn’t a pretty game, but we still won and that is all that matters right now. I do think Bruno needs to be dropped for 1-2 games, he’s been playing very very poorly for a while now in my opinion.

Rashford’s decision making does need to improve though. I think he’s blatantly struggling for confidence at the moment.

Rashford has to find it from somewhere, else he will eventually be left by the side of the road. His decision making under pressure is pretty poor. For me he's not selfish enough, the best strikers don't pass up a shooting opportunity with a clear sight on goal whereas Rashford has a tendency to look for an easier pass. It's a great trait for a winger or midfield player but not a striker. I get the feeling he may just be on of those nearly men at this level. Attacking players are only useful if their creating or scoring goals.

Even if he was making a good claim to be deployed through the middle, he’d have Greenwood to get past who is incredibly clinical already at a younger age.

Anyone have an idea how many of the lads have gone down with Covid post game? Assume Lindelof is one of them.

His decision making is poor, that is something that should have been coached, pretty sure RR will have already spotted it & will be working on it with him. His form is terrible,I do wonder if it's a consequence of being flogged & playing an entire season with multiple injuries.

I remember Nani , I just don't remember him being the best winger in the league. Very inconsistent player he was but had his moments, like in the CL vs Arsenal.

I think it would do Rashford a ton of good to realize his place in the team is not guaranteed. Greenwood and Cavani in my mind have stronger claims to partner Ronaldo in a 4-2-2-2.

Was brilliant for a stretch.
