Against Newcastle it should not be an issue.
Bruno can’t still be tired, is it the change in formation?
I hate the arms in the air stuff, save that for the dressing room.
They are all so disappointing it’s beyond a joke now. The only person getting a pass is DDG the rest need to think very hard as to why they cannot string basic passes together, why they keep losing the ball, why they can’t do some basics.
I for one looked forward to this game but once again it’s just disappointing.
Ralf get concerned, nothing to lose so drop whomever you wish to drop but before that pls adopt a formation that is better.

Win 2 games in hand that’s 36pts meaning 5 behind chelsea.
We should be thinking ‘let’s go for third rather than 4th’ the mentality of these players is very very hard to understand.

Maguire is simply not good enough and never will be. He should be left out permanently. He just doesn't have the instincts for that position. He’s just too slow to play at the highest level, even if he could read the game brilliantly. It’s like watching Gary Pallister at 34 after a session on the piss. He’s a frickin oil tanker! Maguire was shit before Covid so he can fuck off with that shite, there is a virus down there though a lazy half arsed virus thats gone right through the team.

Who will Rangnick let go of if he's been shackled when it comes to signings? Fucking stupid situation for him.
Pogba, lingard, martial are 3 who need to be sold for some kind of fee, but it is almost impossible that we would sign replacements this window.
I'd be genuinely surprised if we signed anyone.
Flabbergasted if we signed more than one.

Last night’s performance was utterly desperate, and the only ‘plus’ I can possibly imagine taking from this, is that other, so-called ‘elite’ managers, all took time to stamp their authority and playing style on their particular team, Ralf ain’t an ‘elite’ manager per se but he fathered an awful lot of what these other managers are now doing.
I read an article somewhere (don’t ask where) that noted that when Klopp went to the Dippers, the players were reportedly coming in with varying muscle strains etc which was put down to them using different muscle groups whilst undergoing ‘gegenpressing’ exercises.
So I’m hoping that Ralf sorts this current bunch out, or play more of the kids, he supposed to prefer working with them as they’re far more malleable.
Either that, or we’re utterly fucked!
To cap it off , the utter capitulation of England in Australia last night capped my evening off nicely.

Without a tempo controlling midfielder, you never have control in any game. At present any games we win are due to the firepower we possess in the forwards. But have we coasted to any victory this season? I can’t think of one. You know, 3-0 up with 20 mins to go, just playing keep-ball to see it out? Until we get a proper midfielder in, every game we play will be helter skelter. And as well as being risky, physically it takes a greater toll as every game is in the balance right until the end which means you can’t coast like City and Liverpool get to do in most games. |
