I'd be dragging the useless cunts in. why would they be off only for the manager to then tell the world 'We have not had time to train and implement new ideas' The senselessness of our club never ceases to baffle me Gonna be a cold snap these next few days, cold AND dark. Fuck that shit for between 100-500k a week. Surprised they ain't gone out for a day trip to go and see Pogba instead. Club is fucked.

Honestly at this point I'd be all for benching the lot of them and bringing the kids in. If the stars won't run, then don't play them. The main place Rangnick is already losing credibility is by playing the same failing players and not giving others a run. He had two unused players on the bench last night, in VDB and Lingard who will give him the running he wants. Instead of bringing on a fading, uninterested, short on confidence Rashford, he should have brought Lingard on instead. Who, for all you can criticise his end product, you've rarely been able to criticise his effort. Right now Lingard is a better player than Rashford. So he should play over Rashford.

Before Ole was sacked, it was the general consensus that the squad was far more talented than the performances indicated. Now, after a few matches with RR in charge, people are concluding that no one could succeed with this squad and that there needs to be a fire sale. I think we are being hasty.

Ole wasn't getting the most out of the squad but there are also glaring inadequacies in the squad.

Now, after a few matches with RR in charge, people are concluding that no one could succeed with this squad and that there needs to be a fire sale. I think we are being hasty. You could argue that keeping Ole has made it 10x worse. We sacked him 6 weeks too late in my opinion. I think your point is a valid one though because I did think this squad was capable of much more but players like Fernandez kept Ole in the job for two seasons and it's no surprise that Fernandez decline in form has conincided with Oles sacking and the teams complete collapse this season. The players haven't had a demanding coach since Jose left and it's going to take time to rectify the damage done by the previous lot. Taking the job during the festive fixtures with players coming down with Covid has made it much harder. You can't ignore that fact. I have some doubts about Ralf because he's gone from playing a high pressing game to the same shit Ole played with those bangers in midfield. It looks like he's bowed to player power and that is a sure sign of weakness. His track record suggests he's more suited to a DOF role and I'm happy for him to fill that role because he's got contacts all over Europe. I think the CL is gone already, Conte is getting performances from Spurs now and Arsenal have made clear progress. We are an utter mess and I have little faith in this squad or this management team. I'm praying we have a good window and find some much needed quality in midfield. A couple of quality signings in midfield could change things drastically but with this lot, we will be lucky to make top 6.

Jones was/is still a really good CB. He’s brave, agressive and reads the game well. He can also pass the ball. People forget there was a reason every big club in Europe wanted to sign him when he was a teenager. Injuries derailed him but the man was a bloody good footballer.

Dalot and telles were first choice Then after one poor game from everyone they were essentially dropped. What has AWB done to start? That is just an example of an area where I agree with the leak that some players are disillusioned with the fact some people just don’t get dropped. Maguire has been a disgrace for months yet at a club this big he still plays when fit. Sancho out of position Greenwood being subbed.
The players need their heads checked yes but what is Rangnick doing?? Some decisions aren’t helping. No player should have power they should all be doing as told or shown the door. Make a statement this month, ship out some high profile players and send a message.
Whilst at it with the Ajax coaching donny is probably the most tactically intelligent midfielder we have, why would a manager trying to implement something new not use those brains to his advantage?

It's demoralizing at best and downright fishy at worst. I don't know how we're in this position where players have this much fucking leeway and even with a new manager it's looking the same. 100 million signing at chelsea gets dropped for speaking out of turn but I remember a Pogba interview where he was speaking similar shit about juventus and he got absolutely nothing. I keep saying it, others here have said it as well, at this point I want the whole thing reduced to rubble.

Let's be honest here, we probably aren't winning the league with Pep & Klopp in the mix. No matter how good our team is.
luckily Pep is on his way out so city will probably fall away just a bit.they certainly won't play the kind of football they are playing now.
Klopp is not going anywhere medium term .
Conte will win a trophy given the time, with or without Harry kane.
Tuchel probably has 1 more season at Chelsea if he doesn't win a major trophy.
We still have to get a permanent manager. Who will also need time.
How many years before we make it a decade with no PL title? 2?

Very good chance that DVB has just had enough,18 months of shite & just wants out,who could blame the lad?

I keep saying it, others here have said it as well, at this point I want the whole thing reduced to rubble. Chelsea did a Sir Alex and brought in a star from a position of strength. We recruit on quick sand. Ole never had control of the team, he was their mate. We had very young inexperienced coaches learning at the supposed largest club in the world and being lead by a novice in Ole. I mean things were so bad a coach got the interim Job over the assistant manager in Phelan. Shambles. We had a plan in the summer and Ronaldo was then available, let's be honest if it were any club other than city and one in the premier league we would not have been in for him. That is the truth, the plan was Cavani lead the line, Mason learn his craft. We wanted a midfielder and the money was spent elsewehere. Our actions are the actions of a joke of a club. When you buy the players we got in the summer you either get a proper tactician to make it work or get proper coaches to ensure that someone can develope a style of play that is suitable. I and the rest of us can go on for days about the mistakes that have been made but right now, Ralf can correct some. He needs a major shaker move, get rid of a few the January get 2 CDM's of quality in, play the right formation and start leading the fight. There are so many midfielders of quality that are nearing the end of their contract, we have options so why as of the 5th of January have we not announced one in. Why is Lingard still around? Why is Pogba still around? I like Cavani but if he wants out, then cheers mate let's sort out a move. Mata don't play!! The list can go on
