Its been over for some time oh and I’m not even bothering to comment on the game as it’s just not worth it. off to Netflix shortly to watch a film and a few beers with the other half(even if the film is shit it won’t be worse that what I watched this afternoon) |

It was over when it became acceptable to keep your job after getting pumped at home by Liverpool and some of the dire results prior to that both at the beginning of this and the end of last season.

i dont feel sorry for Rangnick as hes getting his biggest pay day ever, but what a shit show he has came into.
Ronaldo - past it
cavani - can never stay fit
greenwood - less said the better
rashford - been abducted and a replica being used
martial - left/wants out
lingard - wants out
VDB - left/wants out
bruno - puts his boots on the wrong feet
Sancho - new to the club, settling in, improving.
elanga - young but doing well

In two thirds of a season he's outed Solskjaer and looks like he's putting serious pressure on Maguire. He scored thirty-six goals and had four assists last season. Suddenly he's finished? Bullshit. Even if he is not as influential on the pitch his demands for standards have been desperately needed since Mourinho, and Zlatan, left. |

Tbf I think he means finished at the highest level week in week out. We cannot ignore the misses albeit it’s not just him, the wastefulness in front of goal is woeful. If he wants out in the summer I would not stop him and that is a view the board hold, let’s just hope they are ready to dig deep and pay up for the 2 strikers we will obviously need. |

The biggest defense I can give ronaldo is at his age and the intensity required, we really should rest him abit more.
We know the situation but Cavani needs to sort it out as he should be reducing Ronaldo’s load.
I am half shocked Rashford has not been asking Ronaldo how he made the successful conversion to a goal machine

Like Van Gaal, Ralf has made us more organised and at least to appear to be less likely to concede stupid goals. Unfortunately also like Van Gaal, we’re tedious to watch and we cannot seem to create anything for a sustained period. Whoever the next manager is, we need to seriously upgrade our attacking. After the first 20 minutes, you knew exactly how that game was playing out, bar a wonder-goal or a Watford error.

There's something a bit odd about the fanbase of this club (maybe it's the same everywhere, no idea) but part of this decline is the illusion that our problems always seem to lie with one scapegoat - whether it's Pogba or Ronaldo, for example - that just acts as a convenient cloak for not analysing the true reasons for failure: years of mismanagement, a board comprised of morons and large parts of the fanbase being stupid enough to go along on the ride so they can get £3 cans of Carling.
This is not about Ronaldo, it's about the Glazers and Woodward and the rest of that poisonous mob who have dragged this club too where we are now. It's dysfunctional on pretty much every level.
