Also really pleased to see that Dalot had a really good game, all expertly marshalled by Varane, who seemed so serene at times. Just a thought, he missed a lot of games with ‘injuries’ last season, wonder if any of them were down to his having a lack of confidence in his teammates?

Heartwarming photos of our defence bonding. You’d never see that happen with Maguire on the pitch. Also agree that Varane is the real leader in that defence.

Also, seeing the defence congratulate Dalot on saving a corner. Fuck you slab head. Wouldn't happen with that fucker on the pitch. It's so noticeable from the last three matches. Our defenders actually seem to like each other. It's weird.

Dalot has had 3 very good games in a row now. Another big test on Sunday but RB is becoming less of a concern.

Great to see ‘Mr Punch’ not have a sniff all game either, Martinez was first to the ball EVERY time.

Our play is so much quicker with Martinez rather than Maguire taking 6 touches to decide what to do next.
Even quicker with Casemiro deciding what he's doing next before the ball is even at his feet. *You'd take these things as a given for a PL footballer but just shows the shite we've been putting up with.
Got a feeling Casemiro and Ronaldo will start v Arsenal unless the plan for Ronnie is an impact sub long term

I must admit that I didn't know a lot about Casemiro's game apart from his reputation as a destroyer. So one of the things that pleasantly surprised me yesterday was how quickly he thinks and finds a forward pass (usually first time) to keep momentum. No dithering on the ball or sideways / backwards shit.
Actually excited about the football we'll play with him, Eriksen, Bruno, Sancho, and Antony on the pitch at the same time.

Love the energy and passion in that back 4 right now. Seems to have helped De Gea aswell. Last 3 games he's seemed a lot more confident, especially with crosses and pulled off a fine save from Maddisons free kick in the 2nd half.
Onwards and upwards.

No room for sentiment. We should play our strongest team as Arsenal are flying at the moment so Casemiro, Antony and Ronaldo should all start.
