Sabitzer has played 24 games this season already for Bayern. Why would they consider loaning him? Especially when Gravenberch has struggled in his first season.
I think it is another example of our favourite tactic of going after unavailable players so that it looks like we are doing something.

We can not and I truly mean it when I say it.... We fucking ca not go into the back part of this season with the Wonderfully talentless McFred as our Mid Field paired with Cas! I'm praying to every known deity in the universe we grab someone like Sabitzer or Tielemans. Shit I would be over the moon for both

We somehow have a squad that is simultaneously bloated and full of dead weight, and paper thin. We're always an injury away from a disaster. Terrible squad management for over a decade.

It's all good saying we could have rested players or rotated ect, but those players who would get rotated are the exact same shite we all want out of the club, if we had decent owners players would have been brought in this window, but we don't, there is absolutely zero appetite for the owners to put another single penny in.

Terrible squad management for over a decade. why I think we need to seriously be busy today with gutting the dead weight at any cost and getting 2 solid MF in to give some relief. We can not keep putting Cas out there every single game.... he will burn out or get injured

We could have rested Casemiro against Crystal Palace and Eriksen against Reading. Erik chose not to. Fred didn't start either game. And now Erik is talking up Fred in his press conference and making excuses for the Glazers as to why we aren't going to sign any midfield replacement. Rotation by choice i.e. against weaker opposition or when you have a big game next may not be palatable when you consider the drop off in quality with our bench options. But it is far more preferable to the situation which we have found ourselves now in. Of course there is some bad luck involved. But the fact of the matter is that with a proper rotation policy Eriksen shouldn't have been on the pitch against Reading. Eriksen could have had 4 weeks rest and it wouldn’t have mattered when you come up against a fucking scumbag like Carroll.

Erik back to making excuses for the Glazers. Lots of clubs are still in the market on deadline day and it isn't just Eriksen injured we also have Donny out for the rest of the season and we play three in midfield but now only have four senior team midfielders available for selection. Arsenal literally are going ahead and signing Jorginho today. Chelsea are going to wrap up Fernandez. But it is what it is. At least Erik is talking up a Fred Casemiro partnership and I would much rather see that than seeing much of Scotty. And while some naivety is to be expected in his first season in English football it wasn't exactly unforeseeable that the injury risk was higher against lower league opposition who often resort to fouling and it wasn't necessary to play Eriksen who needed some rest and isn't as tough as Casemiro. I thought he was playing Eriksen too much but ETH can’t be blamed for what happened on Saturday. That was a cowardly act of thuggery from a shit player acting the big man. ETH could have not played Eriksen at all. Or, even better, signed someone who could rotate in vs Championship opponents.

Fred could have played, a youngster could have played, ten Hag with his full control over transfers could have signed someone on 01 January. The owners have never put anything in. It's all club cash or borrowed and credit lines. The sale of the club is worth more if we finish in the European Cup places. Ten Hag could have threatened to walk.

I actually said it before the Reading game in the Forest thread. The squad is weak, but the drop off from Casemiro and Eriksen is massive. I don't understand how he wraps Varane up in cotton wool when needed, which is the right thing to do, but never rests Eriksen
