Just when we seem to be finding answers, we end up asking more questions instead.
27 attempts at goal scoring 3 and conceding 2 against this shite is unacceptable.

Its alright blaming the manager , but this was a game we would have won comfortably if players held up their end.
There was 2 or 3 chances inside first 30 mins and a similar number in the second half.
I mean how many more chances does Ronaldo need ?
End of the day changes made by the manager won the game.

It's not all on TH anyway. This is nearly the same team that beat Liverpool and Arsenal. A team that had 66% of the ball and had 27 attempts at goal. The two we conceded were sloppy avoidable mistakes. That starting XI should have breezed past this side but yet again we make it look 1000x harder than it needs to be. We'll still qualify but unless we beat Sociedad away by 2 or more we'll end up playing a team from the champions league groups so our stay in Europe could very well be short lived if we don't get our act together. |

I think Erik has managed Ronaldo badly. He's been frozen out of the team and limited mostly to substitute appearances and you can see his confidence has been affected and he has lost his composure. This is the first time in his career he has had a bit part role and it must be difficult for him. It is also pretty clear Erik prefers Martial and Rashford. But we need Ronaldo's goals.
Sancho has been a massive disappointment. I think we should play Rashford on the left and see if Dortmund will accept Sancho in part exchange for Bellingham in the summer. We can alternate Tony and Ronaldo upfront.
Eriksen again looked lightweight. CM is an area we need to strengthen and we can't wait until the summer so Tielemans would be a great option. I would rather see Eriksen tried out in the CAM role because Bruno so often does nothing in that role.
Lindelof looked soft and slow as usual. Worrying that Varane has picked up another injury. We really need another CB.
In general it was pretty concerning. We didn't make that many changes. We struggled to break them down. And despite dominating possession they still managed to score twice. We are going to play a lot of weaker teams this season and they will realize that if you let us have a lot of the ball and park the bus you have a fighting chance. We can be dangerous on the counter but we are crap in possession.
I think we should rethink Europa League as an easy route to Champions League qualification. We've looked poor in Europe and to win a cup you need more consistency because if you play badly you can get knocked out.

He was just being unselfish. Granted he should have gone for goal himself but without him we'd have lost the game so can let him off. If any positive can be taken from the game its how both him and Martial changed the game when they came on. |

Had he decided to take that shot instead and missed it people would have been criticising for missing it or not passing the ball instead. He's in a no win situation there. |
