I hate the term ‘game-raisers’. As someone (can’t remember who) correctly stated, teams haven’t needed to raise their game, we’ve just been shite for most of the last decade and it’s a convenient crutch to let our players off the hook. However, these Scouse twats are absolutely the exception to the rule. Not against their rivals, oh no. Against us. Hopefully we smash these bastards and the forwards remain in the goals. I’d love Rashford to get 2 and bring up his century for Utd.

Varane and possibly Shaw aside, that's our best 11 on form so I’m looking forward to being angry that we’ve been shit again. Question marks about Sancho so no issue with him on the bench.

Eriksen I think needs resting. It is clear he plays because he is the only CM we have who can pass the ball but we really need to sign up Tielemans in January because Eriksen will burn out and defensively he makes us a bit vulnerable.
Malacia was poor defensively the last few games so I agree with Shaw starting.
Sancho obviously terrible and both Rashford and Martial deserve to start as they are scoring goals while Ronaldo isn't. Martial's minutes are being managed so I imagine Ronaldo will come on at some point and hopefully will be fired up for it.
In general a good line up. Lindelof is average but he isn't a total liability like Maguire and Everton do not really have enough offensively to put him to the sword. Good to see Casemiro starting and hopefully he will take the pressure off Eriksen so he can just concentrate on linking midfield and attack. Our attack looks quite potent with Rashford Martial and Antony all scoring goals this season and hopefully Bruno can have a good game as we need more from him.
All in all I think we have enough to win this one.

Eriksen simply has to be rested in in the Europa on Thursday. This is becoming irresponsible. Don't mind that defence up against Everton's pacey forward line, (Lindelof), midfield is old. Hope Casemiro really shows his quality tonight and cements that place going forward. Can't be pissing around with a player of his quality on the bench all the time.
