Priorities in the upcoming windows are a RB, a CM and a CF. But if Varane continues to struggle with injuries this season we have a problem. We aren't going to raise much money selling Maguire, Lindelof or Bailly. So probably our best shot is to try and find a promising teenage CB who can be had for around £15-£20M. It is a vicious circle really. We struggle to upgrade positions because the incumbents have little resale value mostly because they are crap but also because they are on high wages and the Glazers are reluctant to make up the differential. I would say we need a proper young striker ahead of all those you mentioned.
We got a cripple and a 38 year old leading our front line.

We aren't going to spend £80M on a striker in January. So rather than a stop gap (which will reduce our summer budget) I think we can get by with Ronaldo, Martial and Rashford especially if Antony continues scoring and we can get Bruno scoring again. Of course if Ronaldo leaves in January we will have no choice. But I doubt either the Glazers or Ten Hag will allow it and Ronaldo will probably realize his options are better in the summer. But definitely next summer we need to spend big on a CF that can lead the line for many years.
I cannot imagine us signing a midfielder either given we brought in 2 midfielders in the summer. A Donny-Tielemans swap would make too much sense for us to pursue it and I think most likely Tielemans will wait for the summer and join Barcelona. That will probably result in us having another go at pursuing Frenkie. Bellingham I think is Real Madrid bound and because they are smart they will get everything agreed well before the summer.
RB on the other hand is a position we should be able to strengthen in January especially if we sell AWB to raise funds. We need a more defensively sound alternative to Dalot especially as Antony seems reluctant to do any defensive work. That is the only business I can imagine us doing. But even then I am not confident with Murtough getting to veto deals he doesn't like.

Does that mean no more Debbie as well? She was conspicuous by her absence on the last video. She's an important part of the format, even if she is a fucking headache.
