Good to win last night but it’s a massive concern how poor we are in the final third of the pitch.
we need upgrades on rashford, martial and sancho(Ronaldo will already be gone by the start of next season)if we are ever going to be a top side again(all of them are just far too inconsistent).
Follow that with mcfed and dalot and then we should be good to go.

Tbf with Martial, it seems to be injuries this far this season. Since pre season he has looked good.
Sancho is just a disappointment, Antony it’s early but even the manager is saying he needs to add some variety to his game. Rashford I think has been cool so far. Ronaldo has missed more chances than he would normally pass up on. It’s an odd one really but hope that we can get the clinical sharpness in and very soon

I am not a troll, I simply do not think he is good enough to spearhead our attack in the EPL. I agree he is good enough against these guys and he should get a goal eventually tonight from all the chances he is getting and the defence naively standing off him. I could call others trolls for slating Fred and Maguire. I am off now anyway. Good luck. I recommend Red Cafe. Seems like you and a couple of your "Chums have been trolling me in my absence " having a valid opinion about a player or players is not trolling, it is pointing out the obvious. I notice that you never said anything to the other guys that slated Rashford for poor finishing after I left. I left this website at half time but I saw 2 more absolutely glaring misses by your mate that you will not criticize, yet you tear into the likes of Maguire and blame him for everything (luckily he never played otherwise it would all be his fault), besides the terrible misses that most kids would have scored from MVs decision making with passes was terrible too. Why dont you take your own advice and go to Red Cafe? you might learn something. Luckily a defender came on to show the strikers how to finish and he scored a goal in fictitious injury time and saved out bacon, we still may not win this 2nd rate league but still have a chance, if we can beat Sociedad. Fernandes was poor too, neither of them should be anywhere near the team. You can cancel me if you like, I won't lose any sleep over it, in fact it would be quite amusing being banned for pointing out the truth, however it will not make the team any better and while Hag keeps picking them, there will never be any kind of consistency.

Certainly looking that way with the number of times he’s been in and out of the squad so far.

Barring a world-class/once in a lifetime performance from their GK, we would have won that by 5/6 more.
It's sad that we're unable to celebrate a 90+ min winner from an academy product after literally battering their parked bus for the entire game (they often had essentially a back 6 in place).
We played well, and dominated almost the entire game as you'd expect.
That was far from Ole-ball, which would have seen us play mainly on the counter and very likely concede late on to actually lose the game. Hopefully we can batter Sheriff and take that confidence to Real Sociedad to top the group with a win.
Fred and Bruno were awful btw, truly dreadful.
Bring on Newcastle, a win at home on the weekend would make it 9 wins in 11 games since Brentford. Looking positive.

Bruno needs to up his game considerably...he is a shadow of the player that we bought... Also for a tricky winger Antony never seems to be able to beat his man...goals notwithstanding he needs to improve...

Love this. Won't see many players this happy being on the losing end but glad he was able to play at OT. Couldn't stop smiling and deservedly so. Apparently 9 of the Nicosia players are united fans and 5 of them turned up to training in united shirts 😂.

Bruno has 1 goal and 1 assist in the Premier League despite being ever present and no goals and no assists in the Europa League. Stats don't tell you everything. But ultimately goals and assists are what win us games and his output is grossly lacking and far short of what you would expect from a player in his position.
The GK had a very good game but we seem to have a habit of blaming the referee or the opposition goalkeeper and against this level of opposition we shouldn't need those excuses. If our finishing was better the GK wouldn't have had a chance to make great saves.
Antony and Sancho are in the same boat for me. Not their fault the massive fees we paid for them but I expect a lot more from them. Sancho lacks pace and ability to beat a man and there isn't any end product in terms of goals and assists. Antony has scored some good goals but agree his overall contribution so far hasn't been good enough (although early days) and also he seems very one footed.
And it is very worrying that everything seems to depend on Eriksen. Maybe there is something to be said for having another go at signing Frenkie in January. If they get knocked out of the Champions League their finances will be even more of a mess and they might be tempted to sell and it is clear that Erik needs a midfield playmaker.

Fuck Omonia. Never seen a more negative team in all my life. Yeah, we were bad, but Nicosia just played the most anti-football known to man. Glad they lost in the last minute.
