I can’t believe Pep was after Fred.
I remember many here shouted that had we signed Sancho in the summer 2 years ago, games like today would’ve been won. He has not been good since he joined us.
Bruno has been poor since the day we signed Ronaldo. I wonder if it’s related.

We were lucky first half with them hitting the woodwork, and maybe a pen. Then we should have had a pen and we missed a couple of golden chances. Should have made more changes.

Yet another disappointing performance. On the one hand, the Joelinton chance aside, Newcastle didn’t look like scoring which is a plus. We are just a better defensive unit with Varane and I thought Casemiro was good again. On the other hand, we didn’t look like scoring either until those 2 cracking chances at the end. I’ll keep saying it. We massively miss Martial. Graveyard shift for Ronaldo today so there is little he could do but Martial keeps it ticking.
2 poor performances in a week from an attacking point of view. Bruno needs a spell on the bench.
