Marcus that’s shit! If Ronaldo stays on, that’s a goal and he’s just demonstrated why he’s absolutely not a number 9. Yet another disappointing performance. On the one hand, the Joelinton chance aside, Newcastle didn’t look like scoring which is a plus. We are just a better defensive unit with Varane and I thought Casemiro was good again. On the other hand, we didn’t look like scoring either until those 2 cracking chances at the end. I’ll keep saying it. We massively miss Martial. Graveyard shift for Ronaldo today so there is little he could do but Martial keeps it ticking. 2 poor performances in a week from an attacking point of view. Bruno needs a spell on the bench. He’s been living off that first season for a while now. |

We need Eriksen to stay fit or we're fucked. Simple as that. Without him we're a mess. The lack of awareness around these players is astounding at this level.
Half of these players jave little to no fight whatsoever. Just half arsing it to collect their pay cheque.
I've made excuses for Bruno and Fred for long enough but there's only so much you can defend a player. Neither one is doing near enough.
My only criticism of TH is using 1 change. We needed to change it up a bit towards the end.

All I can say is since summer I’d been saying sell Fred!
Missed opportunity off the back of a decent season for club and country.
Now he is back to his usual self

RB is well needed in January.
Dalot will simply burn out and in any case completion is good.
If we can find someone to take Fred and Donny and we get Tielemans in, that’s great.
Lindelof should be swapped with Skrinar, throw in Jones and Maguire for good measure.
Another striker needed.

The way the game was going it could have been a perfect chance for one of the youngsters to come on and be a hero. Still can't understand at 0-0 why we 9nly made the one change.
