TBH, that’s probably 4 games in a row where we never looked like giving away chances. We’re moving in the right direction, after Spurs it looked like warp speed, today, it looks more glacial, but we’re light years away from the shite served last season.

Another step in a positive direction minus the moment of stupidity from MCT.
I think not losing this game will give the players further confidence, rather than heads dropping they will take heart from the fact they did not lose.
Cannot state this enough but January is crucial, this team needs reinforcements in attack (striker), another quality body in midfield and a RB. Get that at the least and also shed the lights of AWB, Williams, Jones, Fred and Maguire and we will make further progress.
I like Donny and wanted him to succeed but if between now and January 2nd he is not showing us he is modric MK2, he needs to be sold.

Genuinely don't think we're as far off as some think. Barring the monumentally stupid mistake, if we had a striker that could finish that's 3 comfortable points today.
Againat the "top 6" we've won 3, drawn 1 (unnecessarily dropped points) and lost a game against a city side where we'd lost momentum due to postponed games. Think we're on the right track and most importantly with the right man in charge.
Add a top striker to that squad and we'll be well on our way to being where we should be. Still a way off but we're getting there imo.
