Rashford thanks but stop lying to yourself. You’re a left forward

9 of our 11 first games have come against teams in the top half of the table and those likely to finish in the top 6 or 7. The fact ten Hag has been able to navigate the team thru this difficult stretch and keep us in touching distance of top 4 is a significant sign of progress.

They have been shite this year, that little spell they had over the last few years is well and truly over

Genuinely don't think we're as far off as some think. Barring the monumentally stupid mistake, if we had a striker that could finish that's 3 comfortable points today. Againat the "top 6" we've won 3, drawn 1 (unnecessarily dropped points) and lost a game against a city side where we'd lost momentum due to postponed games. Think we're on the right track and most importantly with the right man in charge. Add a top striker to that squad and we'll be well on our way to being where we should be. Still a way off but we're getting there imo. I think City beat us because they’re miles better than us and they have extra motivation for the fixture. We’re miles away from them, regardless of international breaks and monarchs pegging it. I think now Liverpool seem to have dropped off, the rest of the top teams are all sort of roughly the same. Between United and Chelsea you’ve got two teams who are still quite early on in their “process”. I’d say similar for Spurs, but Conte probably isn’t going to be long-term there. Arsenal are doing well as Arteta has had more time with his side to establish their way of playing and because they’ve played nowhere near the level of opposition we have. Basically it’s City and then everyone else.

We need more variety in attack. When we get the ball into the penalty area or what could be a crossing position the player has to turn back or run into a dead end. We only cross out of desperation!

I think the most impressive bit about our goal is Casemiro having the legs to make that kind of a leap with seconds left. In the closings stages jumping can be one of the first things that goes with fatigue.

Quite liking this South American core in our team. Martinez and Casemiro are the types of beasts we've been crying out for in their respective positions.

We definitely should have won tonight but two things...
We showed that never give up spirit that was part of our dna under SAF and...don’t you just love a last minute equaliser?
It almost felt like a win...
Having said that I really wanted the three points...
...but I feel that we are moving in the right direction...
