Andre Kanchelskis once did a 360 pirouette while dribbling when he was at Rangers. Just left the ball in front of him and did a jumping spin for no discernible reason. 🤣 Yes! The other classic alongside the salute. Footballs meant to be a laugh init. It’s a fucking kids game and they’re bleating about a 22 year old BRAZILIAN trying to entertain people. Dear me. if Antony's pass came off to Casemiro it would have been good play. its a silly little trick, but what it can do is give our players time to make a run, make defenders flat footed and look thinkin wtf is he doing and next minute their ball watching and caught out. keep it up Antony!
Garnacho is absolutely immense what a players hes going to be. get him tied now now.

Well that was a pleasant evening. Frustrating first half as is often the case but once the breakthrough came it was fine. Never really felt we could concede tbh. But we'd have been out of sight after about 30 mins if we had a clinical front line.
Garnacho is immense, every time he got the ball the crowd was on its feet - the kid's electric, Antony is great to watch as well, and that spin was brilliant to watch. It's entertainment ffs, the backlash is insane; Scholes has been in the category of "footballing legend and shit pundit" for years now, just a miserable whining bore with little or no tactical nous. Savage can just fuck off.
Also really pleased to see Ronaldo score, he made an effort all night.
Also - the anti-Glazer chants were periodic, and loud and clear. Also well-timed (just after kick-offs, after the goals, etc) presumably so they can be picked up by the cameras. Even little kids were joining in.
Only major negatives: Maguire coming on, I just hate him. And our fanbase is a disaster - tourists, weirdos with half-and-half scarves (remember when wearing one would probably get you killed?). Depressing.
Onwards and upwards. A win, and a stroll in the park.

I like Ten Hag a lot. The football is better, the new signings have been excellent and we look a well-drilled unit, lacking a goal scorer. I think we’d be back on track if we weren’t up against an allegedly financially doped nation-state sports-washing. But the thing that convinces me that we’re firmly on the right track is some of the hate we’ve been getting recently. For years we were just a laughing stock. You don’t hate laughing stocks, you pity them. I don’t see much pity coming our way over the next few years.

Just maybe next time if he wants to do elaborate skills then do it when we're a few goals up. I enjoy seeing things like that. Just not so good when they don't come off 😂. |

In the end it was all about the ball to Casemiro...if it had been hit a touch softer and come off then nobody gets upset...
But it livened things up...
Back in the day, a Tommy Smith type might have tried to break his legs for that though...
