Really rate Enrique as a manager but i think he is dead wrong not having DDG in his provisional team for the WC.
Personally I'd take him all day long.

Antony was hooked half time so pretty clear Erik's feelings on the subject which he elaborated in the post-match interview.
"As long as it's functional, if you're not losing the ball and you're attracting players, then it's OK. But if it's a trick because of a trick, then I will correct him."
Incredibly rational and completely correct from Erik.
I really like the team mentality he is trying to instil at the club. We've got some talented individuals at the club but they need to play for the team and if they don't there will be consequences.
Can't be too upset with Antony though. I'd rather a winger who is a bit too cocky and confident than one who plays it safe all the time and doesn't take risks

So assume he’d picked up a little knock. |

Ten Hag said in the post game interview that it had nothing to do with him coming off. It was always the plan to take him off at half time because he wanted Rashford and Ronaldo to have a bit more time linking up.
Just more is being made of it and looked into it because of bellends like Savage that couldn't stop crying over it.

To be honest we are almost the finished article. We just need a killer finisher upfront. Ronaldo aint it. Happy he scored today and I hope it increases his confidence but it was clear again he is not the same player he was. He had plenty of chances. Rashford surprised me when he scored with his first chance  Happy we scored 3, but we should have easily scored 5 or 6  |
