Fucking woeful,we are still over reliant on 3 or 4 players & when they don't perform,we are fucked.
All stems from the top down & continued under investment in the squad.

They have to spend in the summer, no excuses, no waiting until the summer, we must simply spend in January.
Reality is we need another CB, a RB, a midfielder and a striker, if you really want to show you mean business you get 2 midfielders.

Might be worth trying Ronaldo on the right while Antony and Sancho are injured. He cannot do any worse than Rashford and while he doesn't have the pace of old it was where he started his career.
Agree we probably won't do anything in January unless our hand is forced by Ronaldo engineering an exit or someone else getting a bid accepted for one of our summer targets.
Does anyone know the situation with Martial. He's looked the biz for us the few games he's played this season as a number 9. If we could get him fully fit for the second half of the season it would help massively. It is so frustrating that when he finally starts to look like the player we first signed he has turned into the next Saha

Just watched the replay now , At least those leaches will know investment is absolutely needed in January.
CB , MF and a striker is must.
Also we really need to look into our fitness and medic teams. United players are almost always injured it seems and it has been going for long enough.

AWB and Donny have been so shit the only interest we will get is loan offers. Crystal Palace rumoured to be interested in a loan for AWB. Donny there is some interest from Valencia. If those loan moves work out we might be able to raise some money for them in the summer to top up our budget. Cannot see us getting much for either if we try to sell in January. Don’t think he has the mentality to make it here. Never understood the hype with him and I’m sure my previous posts back that up. While I'm not calling for him to be sold(yet) it wouldn't bother me in the slightest if he was. |

I’d sell Sancho as well but I’m probably the only one on here who’d gamble on that one. Don’t think he has the mentality to make it here. Never understood the hype with him and I’m sure my previous posts back that up. While I'm not calling for him to be sold(yet) it wouldn't bother me in the slightest if he was. Similar,not bothered either way. |

Still think there's a top player in there. If people are having faith ETH can get Donny to improve then surely the same hope should be shown for Sancho.
Play Bruno deeper and rotate Eriksen and Sancho at No.10. Think he'd do a better job for us there than out on the wing. He's creative and can score so it's worth a shot.

That was truly awful. We got hammered by a side that sacked their manager and have had what ? 2 days with a new one.
Tired already light squad, because we let 8 players go and bought 4 and still have too many players who are not good enough. Massive improvement in MF and defense, when the first choice are not injured or suspended or exhausted or whatever.
You could put Modric and Kroos from 2 years ago in front of Casemiro or Iniesta and Xavi from 2011 and you would still struggle to score with that crap forward line. One right back, who is supposed to play out of his skin up and down the pitch in every game in this schedule
It's not just one striker either, because we need a couple of strikers bought January and Summer.

End of the day it is Erik who looked at our forward options in the summer and thought "You know what I'd rather pay 100m euros for Antony". Basically gambling that Martial could stay fit and replicate his pre-season form, Ronaldo would re-integrate into the squad and start scoring, and that Rashford could re-convert to a number 9. All three bets haven't really paid off and while Antony looks promising he is far from the finished article and hasn't improved us that much.
