Lindelof must love Maguire being at OT; I do feel that he takes a lot of the heat that would be directed at him instead. He's every bit as bad as Maguire, they are both equally incompetent and need to go. Incorrect. |

Lindelof must love Maguire being at OT; I do feel that he takes a lot of the heat that would be directed at him instead. He's every bit as bad as Maguire, they are both equally incompetent and need to go. there is a defender in lindelöf though, i can see him doing well in spain or italy. maguire on the other hand...best suited to do what he`s done best for large parts of his career, playing for teams that get relegated. both need to be replaced, although we can do worse than having lindelöf as a 4th choice CB |

Can't complain too much about a 3-0 win especially as we weren't at full strength. We now have a nice 5 point lead over Tottenham and a 7 point lead over Liverpool and are level on points with Newcastle with a game in hand.
And if Rashford can keep up this form of scoring almost every game and stay fit then maybe we will get away with not signing a striker in January and still make top 4 comfortably.
Casemiro is absolutely fantastic. We really are lucky to have him.

Shaw was decent going forward, a bit dodge defensively. We can afford that against most teams in this League (look at TAA) but we have to keep an eye on it against the top few.
Fernandes had more of an on night - is he just better without the added burden of the captaincy?
Martial is such a consistent let down in comparison to what you think he should be capable of. FFS man.
Not quite sure what Rashford has been eating. He seems like a different player. Direct, smelling chances, making the correct decisions on and off the ball. All the shit he has been appalling at is suddenly all working. All fingers and toes crossed he can keep this version.
There is actually some semblance of coherency in our football at the moment and it all comes from Casemiro. Give that man the armband.
We have seen decent runs like this before, so any optimism is extrahemely cautious, but ten Hag seems to be getting something from the squad. Reasons to be positive.
Maguire was pathetic. Who saw that coming?

Just need this run to keep going now. Don't do what we've done so many times before, getting ahead of ourselves and it going to shit.
There's genuine belief in this team now. Finally playing like a team again. Get that striker in asap and let's push on.
