We were good yesterday, controlled the game, sure we lost control after 2 goals up and thanks to Dave we didnt concede.
Martial is a real disappointment, he is getting a run now, and he can barely put on a good showing. Totally anonymous all game. I think we are 2nd in the table by chances created, level with City and just behind Arsenal I think, if only we had a proper forward upfront, we wont be just +7 GD.
To be honest, the defence was pretty decent up to the point where the game was opening up and the team got lazy. Its clear that individually Slabhead and Lindelof arent good enough but if the team plays to their strengths, it can work.

got to admit i've been impressed with fred recently. ETH seems to have found him the best suited role - coming on midway through the 2nd half when players get tired. he has a good engine and high energy, well suited for the last 20-30mins in the game to provide some more aggression and help on counter attacks.

Definitely offers more than McTominay. I like Fred. Think he's a more useful player than some make out. |
