Problem for Sancho is that Antony is a clear favourite of Erik's and with his massive price tag Erik is under pressure to prove a point with Antony. So he will have to take his chances when really what he probably needs is a run of games and the same kind of faith that Erik is showing in Antony.

To be fair Erik has proven on more than one occasion now he isnt afraid to drop players that aren't performing so Sancho being back will give him an extra option and a bit of competition out on the right for both players. |

If ETH is pragmatic as some claim then it’s down to proper footballing choices and who’s fit to play. Left side: Rashford-Garnacho-sancho Right side: Antony-Elanga-Pallistri With the choices on the right and what Antony has done as a professional footballer he would seem to be the one to get the starting nod. Of course the massive fee bringing him in does allow ETH to receive criticism for the selection of Antony when he is struggling to adapt and bring his game up where it needs to be. So not quite sure that ETH necessarily views his relationship with Antony as one with weighted preference as just not having a deep squad with players pushing to dethrone the starter at each position… |

Not sure which thread to put this in, but a mate of mine just commented on Rashford. And the way he has reacted to being dropped, 3 games into this scoring run. I'd actually forgotten all about that. Phenomenal.
