i thought sancho looked good in the middle for his little cameo. bit more match fitness and i think he would be superb there.
its clear to see Ten Hag wants players to be flexible & comfortable in where they play. its also a good option to rest bruno.
on paper... Rashford, Sancho, Antony, Martial is a top class forward line
Ten Hag is building something. there hasnt been this much hope with a feel good factor for years

Atmosphere after the game, in the tunnel out the Fergie stand was electric. Long and loud singing. It's so good to feel positive about a Manchester United side. It fells like there's an air of inevitability around us now. Bit like the Scousers when Klopp got them around challeging for the league and European Cup again.

Yeah I would also dispute this. Most of the improvements under Ten Hag have been in defence and midfield. Our forward line is the weak link and Rashford's incredible form over the last few months is papering over a lot of cracks.
Sancho's reputation as a world class player comes entirely from his form at Dortmund. For us he's been pretty average and nowhere near as productive only managing a handful of goals and assists since he joined. He seems lacking in confidence and for the last few months or so has not been physically or mentally ready to play for us.
Antony is frustrating as hell. I don't mind inconsistency in a winger. But with Antony there is little to no end product. Four goals and zero assists in 20 games and in most of the games he scored he did little else all game.
Martial looked on fire at the start of the season and when he is on form he is a top player. But half the time he is unavailable for selection and since the World Cup break the handful of times he has played he has been poor.

Eriksen being injured felt like it could be a turning point in the season but it doesnt feel as doom n gloom as the initial thoughts. |
