I think Eriksen's injury could be a blessing in disguise. Eriksen would have probably ended up burning out playing twice a week. Sabitzer should be pretty fresh. He didn't start many games for Bayern this term and Austria got knocked out at the group stage in the World Cup. He has a better engine than Eriksen and should be quite capable of playing most of our remaining games. Also as people have pointed out Fred is a lot better playing alongside Casemiro and can play a role for us in the run in.

The main challenge will be replacing the chances he used to create for us. Especially against weaker opposition. But Sabitzer will provide some assists and his presence in midfield might allow Bruno to play a more creative role perhaps even going back to playing as more as a number 10 as Sabitzer is very comfortable in a double pivot. But Antony and Sancho also need to step up in terms of assists.
