Genuinely feels like this could be our first Glazer-free transfer window in nearly 20 years. If we have Champions League football to accompany that, it could be very interesting.

Hopefully potential new owners have deep pockets and an actual plan.
A top bollocks #9 has to be the priority. Then Casemiro competition/cover, Eriksen competition/cover, a centre back, and a right back. That would give us a competitive squad that could actually win things. Shift some dead weight, promote a couple of loanees/youngsters, then maybe make an extra signing or 2 to fill any remaining gaps in the squad.
Could be an interesting summer with some crazy money being thrown about, especially if the big clubs on the market get bought and Newcastle make the CL.

Priorities for me would be a top class #9, a backup #9 more reliable than Martial, a box to box midfielder versatile enough to play as a number 6 or a number 8, a young backup CB and a quality RB.
£200m + proceeds from player sales should just about be enough for that if we are savvy in our spending and ask for hard cash rather than the usual loan + option to buy deals when it comes to player sales.

The tactic of using anything longer than a 5 year contract to amortise transfer fees is of course being abolished this summer.

The tactic of using anything longer than a 5 year contracts to amortised transfer fees is of course being abolished this summer. I'm astonished that it even exists now.
