If Sancho wants to save his Manchester United career he has two choices:
The first is to go to Saudi Arabia, play regular football, and force his way into the manager's thinking with some great performances.
The second is to issue an apology to the manager, put in the work in training, wait patiently for what will be limited opportunities and make the most of them.
But of course he is just going to sulk on the bench all season while picking up a £350k a week salary and running down his long contract.

And the opposite to Sancho is Chelsea’s Mudryk. Yes, he hasn’t had the impact on the field but Chelsea have asked him to back off his training.
Here is a sentence from the article: Chelsea have warned Mykhailo Mudryk to tone down his gym work over concerns that the winger is overdoing his intensive training regime, according to reports.
We could use a few players who we have to rein in for doing to much, and not having the lazy bums that we have to motivate daily…..

Reports are saying we tried to insert a £50m obligation to buy clause in the loan to the Saudi club. Understandably they walked away.
We are so bad at this.

Sancho should be treated as he is, a lazy hopeless cunt. If it was me his feet wouldn't touch the ground, made to do extra training and fined for not giving 100% effort.

That is what we have been doing all summer. Using outliers of crazy transfer fees to try to justify asking for unreasonable amounts for our dead wood.
They pay up for past it players because those players may be over the hill but they have actually achieved something in football and therefore are a name they can market.
Sancho had a few very good seasons in the Bundesliga and has done absolutely nothing of note since. He peaked at 21 years old. With the wages he is on only the Saudi league are able to pay them and there was hardly a stampede of Saudi clubs queuing up for his signature. So even a loan + £25m obligation to buy deal would have been good for us. Or if we think there is still a player there we could have made it just a loan and used the move to put him on the shop window and try to drum up interest from other Arab clubs.
Unfortunately I do not see another big European club touching him after all the red flags he is throwing up: a well documented history of being late to and skipping training sessions, sulking when he isn't selected, the 3-month mental health break, and now accusing his manager of being a liar and leaking stories to the press about the club not getting clearance to make a press statement about his mental health problems.
I have upmost sympathy for people with mental health problems and we have tried to help him. But to play football at the top level you need good physical and mental health. You also need to be a good professional and there are plenty of people who suffer from mental health problems who have no choice other than to be good professionals and give 100% no matter how much they are hurting inside because they are living pay check to pay check and if they lose their jobs they could end up homeless and on the streets. Sancho clearly doesn't have that to worry about and it is pretty much impossible to sack a footballer for poor performances, unprofessionalism and so on. And apparently also for beating up women unless the police achieve a conviction.
And this is the state of the club. We can bring in fresh blood and aside from Antony we've recruited pretty well under Erik. But we need to get the wasters out of the club even if it means fire sale prices and severance payoffs.

If we sign that guy, Pellestri needs to go full Sancho on Twitter.

If it's true, and Erik signs off on it I think it's time to start questioning him.
We can blame the Glazers etc, but he can turn shit like this down, then answer questions honestly about why, just like he did when asked about Sancho.
We're skint, transfer window is shut anyway, this guy is garbage and we've got better in the academy, and Pellestri and Amad are twice the player he'll ever be.

Of course, he's played for Ajax before. I like Ten Hag and I'm 100% behind the guy but fuck me can we look further afield than ex Dutch league players.

The guy has tunnel vision for Ajax/Dutch players. I have suspicions that he plays favorites in the squad as well. Pellistri should walk if this nobody is signed to play in that position.

That has got to be a joke!? Weghorst was bad enough but at least we didn’t really have a viable option already at the club.
Would be the biggest red flag yet that this job is just far too big for him.
Embarrassing that we’re even being linked to players like this now.
