Mate, thinking about potential signings/ recruitment based on where you are from is a joyless pointless road. I had a period of happiness when Kuszczak was no2 to VDS, other than that I could spend hours each window typing on which polish players could do a job for the club, but I won’t, it’s a biased lense to look through. Look at how British players are hyped and taxed to their detriment. Oh and also, Clint Dempsey was not that good. While we’re on the topic he’s an awful pundit. Edit: if you are Chinese and want to talk about Dong we encourage it. Nobody on the US team would make our bench let alone starting 11. Players should be selected only if they fit ETH’s style and will fit with the team and follow his rules. More of Casemiro and Martinez and continued improvement of those who are responding to Eric’s leadership like Rashford Shaw Fred and even AWB So we agree- my posts said I don’t care where they come from and no! Maybe- Dempsey scored 57 goals in roughly the same number of matches as Martial scored 59 for United. Spurs paid 9.6 to Fulham and Woodward paid ?50 million to Monaco. But my point was NOT we should have signed Clint Dempsey, but rather we should sign players with his attitude and drive to the make the most of their talent. Martial has most definitely not done that despite having so much potential. Meanwhile Rashford has got his head sorted and is scoring again. From a practical point, United have wasted a billion on players thx to Ed and Glazers going after the next shiny thing. Maguire and Sancho were about 150 million combined! Maguire was pushed aside by a player smaller than him but w heart/ambition 10 times what Maguire has. Sancho may still come good hopefully. I’m w ETH- squad should be team players that are hungry to win. We kept buying shiny shit that turned out to be plastic. Right now I’m just enjoying watching a team that is gelling and playing good football again under ETH! Him being Northern Irish just meant I saw much more of him in person. And Lewa would have been some Pole to get ... |

The kid at Bristol City, Alex Scott. We should be doing a deal there and now. Check out from 4:30 for his bit of skill to pre-assist their second goal at the weekend. Just been watching a YouTube compilation and it's probably the most promising video I've seen of a youngster for a long time. You just know it's the sort of transfer we'll rue missing out on in a few years time. We were supposedly interested in the summer so we really should be working on a deal now and then loaning him out again next season. |

Pick up Ndicka and Laimer/Teilemens on a free. Or Sabitzer for a fair price.

I think under new ownership stockpiling young talent should definitely be on the agenda. Chelsea and Manchester City both do it and even if the players don't break through after a few loan moves can often be sold for a tidy profit. And with Ten Hag as coach and our first team of much higher quality than its been in a long time we are in a good position to develop players

We should be able to spend a wedge in the summer. We will have new owners, debts most likely cleared, champions league and probably a new big sponsor.
I don’t see any reason why we can’t spend around 150m net

We hang on to players far too long, it doesn’t help that we give them stupid money making it hard to shift them.
Martial is a prime example.
