Gotta say that having 5 subs has definitely helped gaffers sort out the matches. Having just 3 would see two changes around the 70th minute or so, and the last sub would stay in the managers pocket deep into the game for fear of a player injury.

De Gea still MOTM for me if he keeps a clean sheet. The game would be hugely different if we were (deservedly) two down after 30 minutes. The first was massively against the run of play and forced them to try and be more front-footed second half instead of shredding us on the counter, in turn meaning we could shred them on the counter. None of that happens if he doesn't make two wonder saves, instead they keep doing what they were doing and we very possibly lose or draw like the Leeds game. Fucking blows my mind people want him gone. It's because they're too obsessed with his passing stats or that he isn't commanding enough in the box. Happy to highlight the mistakes but won't highlight the positives. Without those saves today we're not winning that.

He suits the number 10 role much more than the wing, particularly in ten Hag's system. High pressing/winning the ball in the opposition half needs pace in wide areas to stretch defences and quick-footed players in the middle to move the ball forward quickly. Sancho fits that better.

Sancho walking off smiling after getting on the end of a great move, hopefully this is his turning point. And He went over and gave young fan his jersey after whistle. Sign he is taking on ETH advice. Great match all around

Been saying about him at 10 for a while. Definitely seems to suit it better. Gets involved more.

Great match all around i`ve seen that a lot this season, players handing over their shirts to fans after the game. wonder if that is an instruction from ETH, as i dont think it happened that often before he arrived.

The anger on Twitter is hilarious again! Sabitzer wasn't remotely a red. Tried to block him, caught him with zero malice. It's nothing. Move on. Old Sourness moaning again. Did he say anything about that horrible challenge by Fabinho the other week? Thought the 2nd was offside. VAR thought otherwise.
Shit first half but second was much better. Nice 3 points. League on hold for a couple of the weeks with a trip to the dippers.

De Gea has suffered massively at the hands of glazer incompetence. If he had a good team around him capable of winning things he’d comfortably have a career equal to van der sar at least. Legend.

A legend nonetheless. Real supporters will always remember he single-handedly kept us relevant during the worst of it. Not referencing you obviously.

Great game, on another day it's a red for Sabitzer, but in the context of the game as a whole we deserved the win.
