Watched in a packed sports pub with foreign commentary, got a stiff neck from sitting at a funny angle and sat next to a couple from Dublin who were United fans.
About time we beat these bastards.

Looking forward to Sunday now but not taking it for granted, will be a tough game but we've got some real momentum going and when this club gets in to a run like this we're hard to stop!
These lads, Erik and his staff all deserve a trophy this season, massive effort from everyone to turn things round, certainly didn't expect it so soon.

United have had 19 goals scored by substitutes this season, the most of any big five European league side.

Still buzzing from last night...a proper European tie that could easily have been a CL tie of the Europa final, given the quality of both teams...
We just beat a team that are currently 8 points ahead of Real Madrid, who thrashed a certain dipper team this week...that's the magnitude of what we did last night...
Everything else has been said...
...except, please can we always have "second half Fred"...he's actually fairly decent, whilst "first half Fred" is shit...

Apropos of nothing much, how many of you are ridiculously superstitious when it comes to United matches? I definitely am, borderline OCD, I would suggest!! I have a certain routine when I get changed at the gym and try to stick to it especially when it's a match day... I was also watching the game last night drinking some very nice cider...and Barca scored... This happened last week and I switched to Guinness at half time and we played much better... Did the same last night and hey presto...we won!! Nothing to do with ETH and his tactics or subs...it's solely down to me switching drinks...  |
