Since they've been taken over they've become worse and worse as the weeks go. In a cup final and had a few draws and think they're something. Smash these melons. Living in the North East I know several Newcastle fans. None of them are like this bloke. They are all very aware of what the club is and where it is in the scheme of football. Not all fans of football clubs are like the bellends that turn up online. That’s literally like judging all United supporters based on that Nottingham Forest nonce who literally everyone on this board can’t stand. I can assure you, based on actual conversations with Newcastle fans, that they do not think they’re something based on a few draws. They’ve got a few quid now, they’re having a good season and they’ve gotten rid of an awful owner who has dragged the club down for over a decade. The sensible fans are rightly positive. With all that being said, still smash them like. Oh I know. It'll be the weird online fanbase doing this stuff. It's just gotten worse as the season has gone on. It's a gift. |

Just hoping ETH gets his tactics right from the start, he’s brilliant at changing it at half time but we can’t keep getting away with this it will bite us on the arse eventually.

We've got a better team than Newcastle and that is demonstrated by our record in the big games compared to theirs this season. And we also have experienced players who have won trophies before and they haven't. Even with Rashford missing that should be enough to offset any benefit they have from extra days rest.
Although Rashford missing does worry me. Wout is as bang average as we thought he'd be. 10 games 1 goal 1 assist. And while Erik has been given a lot of credit for his subs when they involve taking Weghorst off they are likely to succeed. But without Rashford or any other recognised striker available we won't have that option on Sunday.

Was in London in ‘99 when we played Newcastle under Rudy Gullit in FA Cup final. Newcastle had more time off and had given up on the league and came out flat. United fighting for treble came out w Manage like Fergie who demanded excellence. Still remember Scholes scoring.
Got to admit this feels like just before that match, determined squad and manager, Geordies on a bad run prior.. let’s hope history repeats!
