I mean, am I the only one that has a problem with Rashford getting it in the neck for yesterday? When he was joined by 10 others who were awful? Am I the only one who has a problem with the glee in which a certain group of posters decide he’s fair game again despite being brilliant this season?

I'll tell you what is ridiculous mate. This horrible, dismissive snark any time someone dares justifiably criticise Marcus Rashford. He has been utterly shit for several years - *years* - and got all too little criticism from most. He's now had a good *three months* for which he was given plenty of justified praise. The Rashford stuff in that thread is not based on the last three months, or him scoring last week in the final. It is about all the times he *failed* to contribute to our success. He is not beyond criticism for his past or his current form. Couldn’t wait to have a pop at him could you? I didn't actually. Karma mentioned him in a post including several other players and was immediately jumped on. |

We shipped in 7 but the focus is on our striker (who plays better on the left)...yup makes sense. He's not beyond criticism but for a player that was completely isolated in the 2nd half I think is a bit ridiculous. Since the world cup he's been world class, one horrendous result doesn't outdo all the good he's done. There are far worse players that need to be held accountable.

Every single player was shite yesterday nobody came out with any credit what so ever, all our favourite players varane casemiro Martinez ect was horrendous, rashford wasn't even the worse, it's mad how it always seems to turn into a rashford bashing though.

Every player seems to be getting rightly bashed today and yesterday and you can't argue with it.
All good and well in the heat of the moment asking for perspective but that's darn hard when you get walloped by 7 goals and worst so when your team visibly gives up.
2 goals off record scoring game, and this is meant to be a rivalry! Dunno if it was fatigue mentally or physically but the collapse was just dirty and people are righfully upset

He's a bit of a weapon but MikeLUHG on Twitter has militantly high standards and this was just retweeted on my feed. It's going to be unpopular because done if the favourites are outed but it's hard to objectively disagree with much if any of it: Hideous reading, we've had our arses handed to us one too many times now! some really brutal beatings have been dealt to us, get the Qatari's in quick and cull all those at the club who need to go, only a handful of players would survive |

As horrendous as yesterday was certain players you can put it down to just a horrendous off day (something the needs to be stamped out). That's no excusing them for it but understanding that they've brought far more to the table this season. Rashford and Shaw are two of those players. |
