 Spuds Newcastle thumped by a very on form Villa too. Hopefully get through this with a win and then a massive 2 weeks for us in the cups and the PL with Spurs and Villa at the end of April. |

Great day of results but ours have shown to be bottlers in the past and they’ve blown many opportunities like this one. Our midfield will need to carry us through this very tough stretch of games.

Fuck knows, that injury list is now critical and it’s mostly our best players I’m not even sure we’ll win another game.
Question is can what’s left drag us through games? I doubt it.

Before the injuries, we’d have won this relatively comfortably. Now it’ll be a scrappy affair but I think we’ll win 2-1.

if Martial starts we have a chance. We’ve got a full strength midfield to pick from and that should give a makeshift defence a lot of protection. Bruno is playing well. Sabitzer should be feeling confident after his midweek brace. Antony is maturing a bit second half of the season.
Also worth remembering we finished 2nd under Ole with a midfield of McFred and defence of MagLof. Casemiro offers more defensive protection than McFred put together and can actually pass the ball. Eriksen gives us some much needed creativity. Sabitzer gets better and better. Martial when fit has been very good this season. Antony is good for the occasional wonder goal. And we have beaten Forest comfortably on a few occasions this season.
I think we need to grab the points we can especially against weaker opposition and hope Tottenham and spurs slip up so we can scrape top 4.

Forest are either prime for a hiding based on current form but I predict a slog. Injuries at the back make us really vulnerable.
