Cheers. He’s clearly come in and gone “why the fuck have you been letting him play there?” I played CB when I was younger. Lad who played next to me was convinced he was better with his left foot than me and more cultured. We couldn’t be arsed to argue, so he played on the left of me. After a while we just took it as read. Feel like that’s what Maguire has managed to do prior to meeting ETH. The lad in question was really similar to Maguire. Clumsy as fuck, moved like a baby elephant, turning circle of the Titanic (post iceberg). You should have written to Ten Hag mate, we've clearly found the secret sauce that turns maguire into a respectable CB

3 straight wins and 3 clean sheet, happy with that.
Very good today albeit against a pretty awful Forest team, they look like they're going down looking at recent results/performances.
Fair play to the back 4, to have Shaw, Martinez and Varane out and come away with a clean sheet is pretty decent. Thought Lindelof and Maguire did well enough, need them to play to their very best (which is decidedly average) if we are to get another trophy and top 4 confirmed. Rashford coming back soon (we hope) is only going to add another dimension to this team, with Antony looking on top form and Martial back up top that could be a very good front 3; and Eriksen and Cas is a great midfield too.
Also, maybe I'm wildly optimistic here, like laughably so, but I'm 99% sure Weghorst is going to score a huge decisive goal before his loan ends. Winner in a final type goal. Got the feeling in my bones.

Just watched it on delay. Solid, all round performance. Loving Anthony’s increasing involvement and contribution. Someone should give Sancho a pint of what he’s been drinking!

Was surprised by that performance. Excellent response to the disappointing Sevilla draw. If we had a proper striker we’d likely have double the number of goals, our build up at times this season has been sublime.

If we had a proper striker we’d likely have double the number of goals, our build up at times this season has been sublime. We’d have at least 10 more points than what we have now and could have been in the mix for the title. we would have won our Europa group at a canter(2 fewer games right there). But the main thing is we would have killed loads more games off in the first half which would have allowed us to rotate the squad more during the season resulting in less injuries and burn out. Fucking Glazers.

Decent performance apart from not hitting the net at least 3 more times but lets not get carried away that was an easy game and practically every game from now is going to be a lot harder.

Yeah this should give us a lot of confidence in the run in. We will control midfield in the majority of our games and that will make it difficult for teams to put our crappy defence under pressure which makes it easier for them to focus on doing their job and turn in average performances. Also with any luck we should soon be able to field a front 3 of Rashford Martial and Antony which is still pretty enviable and Martial has managed over 2 hours of football in the last two games so fingers crossed he can manage a month of football before he breaks down again. Even with our tendency to be wasteful in front of goal we will create a lot more chances with Eriksen back in the team and Bruno in good form. So even with the inevitable goal or two a game we will concede we should still be able to outscore most opposition we play against (especially if Erik can get us to be a bit less wasteful). And as I said all we really need to make top 4 is a 50%+ win percentage in our remaining games. That should be doable. I am less confident about the cups as at this late stage of the competition there are no bad teams and a combination of a crappy defence and a wasteful attack will eventually cost us even if we might be able to ride our luck to finals of both competitions. But I guess there is a chance we might be able to get Varane and/or Martinez fit for the final! So one game at a time! Casemiro, Eriksen and Bruno is a very decent midfield…

I think we should have enough to secure top 4, possibly 3rd, in the league (heck, looking at Arsenal predictably imploding how hillarious would it be to pip them to 2nd).
Big focus has to be getting a result against Sevilla, progressing in the EL and somehow dispatching Brighton.
Tough week ahead, but having a few days of rest + being able to start Eriksen and Casemiro is surely good news.
Would start Fred alongside Case in midfield and push Eriksen to 10. Sancho + Martial + Antony should still offer enough going forward to get a win.
Scenes when Weghorst starts.

I think you have to play Sabitzer as number 10 after his first leg performance especially with no Rashford. Casemiro and Eriksen should do just fine in midfield and run the show.
