Surprised by forest, thought they’d at least have a bit more blood and thunder about them but they’ve been shite, going down for sure if they play like this. We’ve controlled it from start to finish, good performance and crucial 3 points!

Well that was easy. Should have been 4 at least. 9 out of 9 at this stage of the season. Nice gap on Spurs with a game in hand. Can’t ask for more from today. Get top 4 secured asap. Onto Thursday and a tough game.

How on earth has Neville not given Anthony MOTM FFS? was thinking the same. Ive been one of Antony’s biggest critics but he’s come on bundles as of late. MOM for me today. AWB has been good lately but we still need a world class RB. |

Plenty of positives. Eriksen was immense and his ability to pull the strings against weaker opposition will be very useful. Casemiro gives our crap defence a lot of protection. Bruno and Antony have also seen a real pick up in form this spring. Bruno in particular. Martial is managing to stay fit enough to limit Wout to under half an hour rather than 90 minutes and is invariably involved in our goals when he plays.
We have 59 points with 8 games left to play. Historically over 70 points usually guarantees top 4. So a win % over 50% should be enough to get us there and with Casemiro, Eriksen, Bruno, Antony, Martial and Rashford coming back from injury soon we should be too much for at least half the opposition we play. Although it is still incredibly frustrating that we struggle to finish teams off as we won't play teams as bad as Forest every weekend.
