Credit to Bruno, I’ve been very critical of him but a few of his recent performances have been much better and today was one.
Eriksen was brilliant as well. His passing and vision is just so so superior to McTominay.

I thought Lindelof was decent today. On the most part if the two chuckle brothers don’t turn the ball into their own goal or give away a pk that’s a great outing. Having said that Lindelof is definitely the milder of heartburn of the two and did a decent job today. Now we are talking about defending against forest who are just terrible. I wouldn’t want to see either playing together against fast skilled attacking players, they usually end up looking like a traffic cone while they are being passed by. |

Credit to Bruno, I’ve been very critical of him but a few of his recent performances have been much better and today was one. Eriksen was brilliant as well. His passing and vision is just so so superior to McTominay. Think there has been a bit of over-hype going on with some of Fernandes' recent performances that haven't translated to match-winning contributions but today he was excellent with genuine end product. Should have scored but was unlucky with other chances. Casemiro and especially Eriksen I think bring out the best in Fernandes. |

Did anyone catch what the gaffer had to say about Maguire not playing left side centre back under him? Heard the question get asked but was on the way out of the door before he could answer.

I think having someone like Eriksen in there who can actually play football massively helps Bruno. None of the other options can do that. It also takes the burden of creativity off him a bit because he knows the person to his right/left is capable of finding a pass. We don’t have any creativity in the team other than Bruno. None of the wingers really do assists. While Eriksen has been out, our only real provider other than Bruno has been Shaw. |

He’s clearly come in and gone “why the fuck have you been letting him play there?” I played CB when I was younger. Lad who played next to me was convinced he was better with his left foot than me and more cultured. We couldn’t be arsed to argue, so he played on the left of me. After a while we just took it as read. Feel like that’s what Maguire has managed to do prior to meeting ETH. The lad in question was really similar to Maguire. Clumsy as fuck, moved like a baby elephant, turning circle of the Titanic (post iceberg). |
