Whatever happens, Ten Hag gets another season at it but fuck me has he pissed away so much positive credit these last few weeks.
We’ve reverted to one-dimensional football, where the only way we look like scoring a goal is on the counter or through luck. Combined with the constant miss-use of his squad and dumb presser comments, this really isn’t feeling all too different to Ole right now.
To be fair, we’re lucky the scouse have been so shit for most the season or else we’d have been out of the top 4 race by now.
Really is starting to look like little progress has been made this season after all.

To be fair - we still should get top four. The next two games on paper are some of the easiest of the season, and then it’s one win from two games against Chelsea and Fulham, neither of whom will have anything to play for. As absolutely furious as I am about last night, we still should scrape over the line.

DDG, still baffled as to how he let that one in yesterday.
Will say it again, he saves us many times but his howlers cost us massively.
We definitely need competition for Casemiro and Eriksen next season.
If Sancho cannot get on track we need someone to compete with Antony and own that right wing.
We need a striker, if Greenwood leaves then we need 2.
Need a CB and need a GK.

Didn’t watch the game last night but watched in on MOTD2 this morning.
I’ve not even bothered to trawl the the match day thread.
But from what I saw it was a piss poor pathetic performance.

So pissed off after last night. As others have said, this bunch of clowns don’t deserve Champions League next season. If by some miracle they manage to limp over the line they’ll get massacred in the group stages anyway so what’s the point? If finishing outside the top 4 helps, in some small way, to motivate the Glazers to sell that’s far more important IMHO.
We’ve been “in transition” for over a decade now, it’s a terminal crisis. The club is fucked at every level, from the parasites to the joke of a stadium to the over-entitled lazy tossers paid millions to routinely play appalling football and show a complete lack of character.
Burn it all down, get Jassim in, figure out a long-term plan to rebuild. Otherwise we’re trapped in a vortex of doom.

Not making excuses for Dave but had we done the business the other end of the pitch that mistake would have been a minor blip. Instead because we can't finish our dinner so it's made it more significant. I'd keep him on for another year, we need to spend the money in far more important postions right now. The mistakes can't be ignored anymore but he's far from the biggest problem in that squad. Your going to have tight games in a season and you can't afford to have someone like that between the sticks. Aye. Tight games against title rivals. Against relegation dross our outfielders should be good enough to score three or four to make any odd mistake redundant. |

Our players are struggling to score goals, so your keeper can't drop a clanger like that. Once that goal went in, west ham could just sit in and hit us on the counter. We don't do very well in those circumstances right now. That mistake handed them the game. |

Our main forwards were here under LVG , the full back who gave away the penalty and the goalkeeper with Fergie.
Let’s face it if Phil Jones was fit he’d probably play.
Imagine that happening at any other so called elite club.
