Thats the frustrating part. Large parts of the football have been great, it's the finishing that's let it all down. Could easily be 6 or 7 in this. I'm sure kane next year will have a field day with these chances Although I hope we get Osimhen, If we did end up going for Kane he's be scoring for fun with some of the chances we've wasted this season.

34 points behind Liverpool last season, 6 clear this; that's a pretty impressive turn around. 35 behind City too, and 17 behind now, so still fat off but closed the gap. ETH hasn't been perfect but he's done a really solid so far. Top quality. Gotta look at the positives mate. There have been plenty of them. It's a good start anyway. Fingers crossed it gets better in a little under 2 weeks.

Real shame we couldn't keep a clean sheet, but that was bloody lovely from Felix. He has so much talent.

Since when did big Vic become the best CB In the league wanted him out alongside maguire. but watching those last few months i finally understood that lindelöf is actually a decent CB. shouldnt be a starter but a great player to have in there and reliable. he has been solid with everyone apart from maguire. which really tells you everything. get rid of maguire, bring someone like min-jae, gvardiol or araujo and we`re bloody sorted in that department.

17 from 23 doesn't seem unreasonable for a #10 that is expected to try and break through the lines. It's 74%. At the top level that's not good enough. De Bruyne is at 80+% average. (Scholesy reguarly had 90+% ) De Bruyne is in a different system. As brilliant as he is, he's asked to break the lines less, their style is much more death by 1000 cuts with short, quick but simpler passes.
Scholes is the greatest midfielder this country (this planet?) has ever seen so I will take the point but think it's a bit of a harsh comparison.

There was contact and it is a penalty but the fall, fucking hell. At some point you will stop with this, right? It's painfully boring. Ach come on. He went flying after Fofana basically trod on his toe. It was funny.

If we are talking about Xavi or Pirlo, ok but nobody else for me.

I'd say that's job done for ETH cup and champs league in the first season, hopefully top it of with an f.a cup too. Huge huge improvement from last year no doubt about it.
