Only negative is the injury to Antony, hopefully isnt that bad. Besides that job well done. Gives us a chance to rest a few players aswell on Sunday.

De Bruyne is in a different system. As brilliant as he is, he's asked to break the lines less, their style is much more death by 1000 cuts with short, quick but simpler passes. Scholes is the greatest midfielder this country (this planet?) has ever seen so I will take the point but think it's a bit of a harsh comparison.
If we are talking about Xavi or Pirlo, ok but nobody else for me. Scholes passed as well as both but could score much better than either. |

I'm sure kane next year will have a field day with these chances Although I hope we get Osimhen, If we did end up going for Kane he's be scoring for fun with some of the chances we've wasted this season. I'd take both and be very happy, my only concern is that osimhen comes and doesn't score as many, were as Kane comes in and pretty much guarantees us goals, those goals get us closer to the title, but like i say either or I'm happy, but on a personal level I'd take kane. |
