I thought we played well considering the team we played with our striking options.
As said at least we weren’t drubbed but we just don’t have the quality throughout the squad as of yet.

Gutted we lost but at the same time not overly disappointed with the performance. It just shows the area's that desperately need attention this summer.
A lot of people were expecting a hammering and no doubt there will the usual over reactions from some but felt we gave a good go at it. In the end it came down to the difference between the quality of the squads.
Some of these players either shouldn't be here next season or shouldn't be playing as much.

Normally I would be inconsolable but were playing a top side and we didn't get stuffed. That said the boy is very upset.
We got top 4 won a trophy and thats with some players in the squad that are clearly not good enough
We need a proper owner and some serious investment.
Time for the Americans to fuck off

Shows the gulf in class when we consider losing 2-1 in a cup final is a reasonable result. It feels really disheartening thinking of what we need to happen at United to have a chance of getting back to the top, and where City are thanks to the luck of the owners they have, financial doping or not. Apart from sorting our shit out, really need Pep to fuck off. Although without him here, Liverpool would have won more and that doesn't bare thinking about.

I love Dave but if we want to take that next step we need to move on. He’s literally glued to his line most of the time, appreciate everything he did, his player of the year awards were well deserved but it’s time to find someone more commanding etc |

I love Dave but if we want to take that next step we need to move on. He actually wastes a body in terms of goal kicks etc. he can’t play out, someone has to do it for him, it’s just so poor on his part. If he won’t take the £200 k paycut he should go. No one is offering him anything near that |

I think Dave gets one more year primarily as we have much bigger needs elsewhere. Striker will probably take 75% of our budget.
