Dave was so bad on that second goal that I immediately assumed it had taken a wicked deflection. The fact that it hadn’t was mind-blowing. The ball went across most of the front of the 18 yard box so there will have been seven or eight or more players blocking de Gea's view of the ball. He still should have done better but realistically the set piece should have been better defended before Gundogan got his shot away. The fear in stadium from the fans each time the ball went anywhere near Dave was crazy. Genuinely speaking looking at his face throughout the first half, he did not look confident at all for some reason. I like Dave alot, I like his story with us and to be honest I'd keep him as a no.2 but on vastly reduced wages. Some will call me mad but anything above £150k for him is just not acceptable.

Oh another thing, i can't stand Grealish. That dive from the AWB tackle was dirty, very very dirty. No need for him to go down like that when his foot was grazed

No need for him to go down like that when his foot was grazed Understandable given the result, but what was lost a bit was just how dominant AWB was in his battle with Grealish. And like him or loathe him, Grealish had been in dynamite form going into the game.

If ten Hag can get him to continue to improve in all the other aspects (e.g. 'zonal' and attacking) wan-Bissaka can be a very serviceable player for us.

Agree with this. The whole game had a bad feeling about it. City's winner was atrocious all round.

Over the last 6/7 seasons he was been worth at least 9-12 points with his saves, but as i have said before unlike other high profile keepers, when he makes an error it always costs us. I want him to end his career with us, just not as no.1 and certainly not on silly wages. I would like him to enjoy the upside of any rebuild in terms of being part of a squad that is winning trophies

Some will call me mad but anything above £150k for him is just not acceptable. Not mad at all. He's not good enough anymore, simple as that. For every great game there's a shocker. For every wonder save there's a fuck up. He's average, at best, with his feet and isn't really any better on crosses than he was when he first arrived, he flaps or stays rooted to his line. When was the last time you can remember him confidently flying out for a cross, taking people out and claiming a solid catch? He shites himself every time. There's a reason there's been literally zero interest in him from any other club despite him being available for nothing, and he can't get near the Spanish squad anymore. He's at the same level (or below) Barthez was at in his endtimes at OT; Fergie was quick to dump him and move on, World Cup and Champions League winner be damned. Erik needs to do the same. He's a back up now, and we need to be bringing in a new number 1 in the summer.
