People banging on about being honest. Be honest and admit Ten Hag has gone into gunfights this season with barely a knife.if he’s backed properly this summer and City are still that far ahead of us then talk. Until then it’s just being contrary dressed up as ‘standards’. Don’t think anyone thinking right can dispute what ETH has done with what he has at his disposal

Personally I think ten Hag has probably overachieved with the players we have, for which he deserves lots of credit. Those players are here partly down to him though, and his overachievement is still not good enough for what we should be expecting. I don't believe that it must be a case of one or the other - either ten Hag had been excellent or crap. He has been a bit of both with more positives than negatives. Most of my ill-feeling is towards these players and from that comes the frustration with the manager for allowing them to get away with it.

Rashford, 'Born and Red', 'showing up' in the most important Derby we have ever played ... Perfect microcosm. I wanna defend that, but cant...and I've seen people saying he was injured etc, but you can fucking jump, even fake making an effort rather than fuck all.

Pulled him a few times on it this season. Yes not the only one but that was embarrassing yesterday. He deserves praise for the season he's had but also deserves to be called out on shit like this. Especially when you need your big players to step up.

Taking the season as a whole, I'm happy...big progress made, big work still needed.
Glazer's and Jim fucking us over so not confident in the long term, we'll spend big this summer then back to normal.

Very true, Sancho gets done for it all the time, though TBF I don't think that shirking cunt has won even a 80-20 in his favour since he's been here. Not good optics for Rashford either way, especially when the 'brand' is highlighting him being a hero going around picking up the boys who were sat down on the pitch afterwards

Honesty is saying the squad isn’t good enough and that is mostly on the owners but Erik has to take a little responsibility.
He signed off on Wout and Sabitzer and neither made any kind of impact. If glazers weren’t willing to invest their own funds we could have tried to sell Scotty and Maguire in January.
And it was stupid to spend 100m euros on Antony when you considered our CF options in the summer. Goals have been an issue and Antony has only scored several goals this season and provided little in the way of assists. We should have signed a striker in the summer.
But he’s at least improved us defensively which is a good start. Let’s see how he does this summer with a decent budget.

Should've signed a striker in the summer etc...but to blame the manager for the January window is bullshit, he took what he was given, not got what he wanted. Would you trust this board to sell McT and Slab, quickly, and then have the nous to reinvest... quickly 🤣

I wouldn't care if he lost the header, just throw yourself at it and commit. This is why I love the South American players, every single one of them get stuck in. Just standing there like this is just unacceptable. He's had a fantastic 2nd half to the season. He needs to step it up by cutting that sort of shit out. Picking up Garnacho was the most he did all afternoon. Which is a shame.

He signed off on Weghorst and Sabitzer because it was either that or end up with nothing. At the time we couldn't afford to do that. The only criticism Ten Hag should have from this season is some of the in game management (again he's limited with some of the dross we have available). Anything else is on the higher ups letting him down.

The commitment needs to improve, especially with moments like that.

I think that was made abundantly clear when they had to go a run early in the season. The sad reality is we don’t have the squad to really drop anyone. You can’t drop rashford because no one else is scoring. Sancho hmmm yeah that one is baffling or maybe he just wants to have leverage to say ‘I have tried giving this guy many chances, he is a dud, get rid’. Bruno? Let’s face it he is the most creative player we have. I get there is frustration but maturity means you don’t cut your nose to spite yourself. Let’s see what happens this summer, over to you Mr Murtough

Maybe he took what he could get, so he had a better chance of getting what he wants in the summer. There was no way the leeches were going to spend 200m in January. If Erik has done anything this season I didn't like, then it was not giving some of the youngsters an opportunity to make a case for the first team. The lad Pellestri is going to waste especially when you consider our problems in midfield and attack
