We didn't get near city all day. We won't challenge for anything if we don't rip the squad apart and get serious. The game genuinely reminded me of us Vs Newcastle in our treble season. City couldnāt have asked for a better low tempo final before their big one. was thinking the same thing this afternoon. I would have been very disappointed had we not beat Newcastle that day as city would have been had they lost today. most expected us to win then and city to win now. |

Side note.
Itās no wonder the seats around the halfway line are always empty after the half. I think there must have been like a small handful
Of actual football fans in my section. Couldnāt get a bite to eat at HT because they all were in there like at least 5 mins before the whistle and just hung around .
Itās a mistake i wonāt make again. Would have rather have watched it at the pub with friends.

Result is more annoying than anything. They werenāt at it, and if we had been, that was there to be won. But, Iāve seen enough this season to think we can challenge domestically for sure, should the manager be backed, regardless of owner. We didn't get near city all day. Agree the squad needs ripping apart, and I do think the manager is there right man to oversee that, but regardless of owner he needs backing to the hilt. |

The fitness and quality took over in the end. Honestly don't think we're as far off as some make us out to be either, but that's dependent on Ten Hag getting fully backed this summer. If he isn't able to do what he needs to then we will be. See how the summer goes first. |
