when we all used to say - wish we signed Cavani when he was younger. this is it. a work horse, a bull, finds space, sniffs out chances and can finish.
this kid is going far and will rival any CF in a few years

Getting shit service all season, the PL scoring drought, the weight of being the everyday striker for a struggling team like United in all areas, and he has just put his head down. He went about the business of doing everything can go to get in the positions he needs to be. It is starting to pay off.

7g/2a in 6 matches
kid is on fire right now and really showing why we paid the price tag for him. He is showing a whole package striker too... mentality to play through droughts and not getting service, hold up play, energy to constantly put himself in positive positions, and tenacity to go after defenders playing through the midfield. He is a red thru and thru with every breath he takes on the pitch!

What a complete and utter shit show of a club. And what a collection of wankers we seem to have assembled.
MEN.
A number of Manchester United players remain unconvinced by Rasmus Hojlund and are reluctant to pass the ball to him.
Hojlund, who joined United from Atalanta for a fee rising to £72million in July, has scored one goal in ten games since he recovered from injury in March and he has not completed a full match since the FA Cup semi-final against Coventry on April 21. A United squad member told a confidant that certain players are seeking alternative solutions in the final third due to Hojlund's lean spell in front of goal. United have scored one goal in their past three games.
Hojlund gained the ball only 14 times in the 1-0 defeat to Arsenal on Sunday. He had 26 sequences on the ball against Crystal Palace but only 11 against Burnley and 17 against Sheffield United.

Jury is still out on Hojlund. But he is a 21 year old kid playing his first season in the PL. Next season will be his true test.
But current situation again comes back to the manager , why is he not setting up the team to feed his almost 70 million pound striker. Or is it that he tells them but nobody listens.

It would make who we are to blame for how dog shit this team is game in and game out while some how progressively looking worse.... If it's the player not listening then which ones and why, also what is ETH doing that has made them not listen, because something has to give. I think it always falls on the manager because it's his job to get the players to do what he has envisioned on the pitch.

I was doing this exercise with a friend over the weekend. The ones I'd definitely keep (in no order):
Hojlund Bruno Martinez Mainoo Garnacho
I was struggling a bit after that. There's a few that, realistically, I'd keep because you can't get rid of everyone - Shaw, Varane, Dalot etc. - but there's so many that could go so easily.

Martinez hasn't played a game in how long? I love the guy to bits but if he can't stay healthy what's the point.

I’d probably add Amad to that list because he’s flashed real ability this season. And was superb for Sunderland.

Amad, Garnacho, Hojlund, Bruno, Kambwala, Martinez and Mainoo. That would be my keep list. Martinez has had a horrible season but I’m putting that on doctors who have done a shoddy job. The guy had surgery, pain was still there but he cracked on and then had to have the issue looked at again. I don’t think he is injury prone at all.
