I agree with Mightyez. This start to me is worse than last year. We’re a year into ETH’s reign, we’ve spent money and we should be starting the season on fire. Instead we look tired, the players don’t seem to have a clue what they’re doing, our midfield is a sieve and we create nothing apart from a bit of magic. And that’s rare.
Very hard to have any excitement about where we are heading.

We looked quite good early on pressing high and energetic but it gradually faded and we backed off allowing Spurs time and space, at the end we looked shagged, even the subs brought zero energy, Eth wasn’t up demanding anything either it was piss poor. Other teams will see this and fancy taking us on now, nothing to fear.

I do beleive Ten Hag is the right man to take us in a forwards direction, I just don't think he has the right support network around him. He hasn't had 100% backing from the rats since he's been here and was massively let down in January.
Unfortunately it's a vicious cycle that needs to end one way. The parasites being removed from the club.

I’m in Benidorm, sorry for the detail but just walked passed a group of die hard Geordies, they were from Newcastle, crowing from the rooftop, I thought they’d won but no, they were cheering for a one nil score line and then said it’s great because man United lost, I mean we’re still the berometer for everyone, no one gives a flying fuck about city, it’s all about beating United even now and this is what everyone at the club needs to learn

Literally came on here before bed to post this. Guessing Bruno gets fined for this. He’s not had a good game today, but these are the actions of a captain. Someone needed to say it. You knew we were getting nowt today as soon as the game finished on Monday. Everyone on here said it. Remember when Rashford complained about Martial’s sending off against Spurs and Maguire said something like “pack it in, he’s made his decision”? The answer isn’t to give us nothing because they fucked it up the other day. But that’s what they’ve done. Anyway, that’s not why we lost the game today. But it still needs to be said. |

Exactly what other top level club would do it? utter incompetence like a lot of other things in the club is it any wonder we are where we are. I actually think we over achieved last season especially with Rashford's goals, this will be a very difficult season going up against other clubs that have bought well. |

Didn’t watch any of the game(than god)because I was on a stag do in the city centre but reading this and other forums it looks like we’ve solved none of our issues from last season.
Antony ineffective as per.
Rashers shite up top.
Etc.etc.etc.
I’ve been fully supportive of ETH but I’m now starting to see slight cracks in my armour.
why we spent 60 million on a player we didn’t really need.
80 million on Antony who(being honest)is basically shite.
Hardly any issues from last season have been resolved.
Bar the pre season arsenal game we’ve been below par for some time.
I’m not too bothered about a shit start to the season BTW because it could tip the scales on the club sale(especially if the CL spots start to disappear over the horizon).
