Amusing really. The same summer we signed Sancho for £75m they bought Malen for £25m. And now over two years later we are talking a straight swap deal.
I would rather take the cash though. The German League is a much lower level than the Premier League and Malen has struggled for consistency and his stats are nothing special. Also he dislikes playing on the right and is another winger-cum-forward. I would rather we sign a proper winger who can provide great service to Hojlund. And if they can't stump up the cash they can have him on loan until the summer. Hopefully the little prick has a chip on his shoulder and will be very motivated to play well to spite Erik which will increase our chances of getting a good fee for him in the summer.

Not sure how I feel about the move, the only positive is Sancho leaving but the other side of getting an inconsistent player in return is not very appealing right now.

Just take the hot and get what ever cash we can do, I'd rather we just sell them in Jan and get rid of the shit, we need the correct players in the club, not just keep the cycle going of swapping crap for crap

Jesus. Mail are reporting that Getafe benefit from a 20% sell on clause if Greenwood signs for another club.
What is wrong with the idiots in charge? We are covering most of his wages. Paying for his accommodation. Not charging a loan fee. And apparently still feel the need to sweeten the deal by giving them a sell on clause.
