We won't have any money to spend or make any sales, but we might as well have a thread to talk about the rumours anyway.

Who might be available on loan in January is the more relevant question?

In the unlikely event that the club is sold to the Qataris before this transfer window, I am guessing we’ll buy a player or two in the winter market.

Osimhen fighting with Napoli owner's, not greeting teammates when arriving at practice.... If we had money and the front office wasn't completely worthless, we should be all over this with sending Martial+cash to them

I saw that TikTok clip and it was somewhere between harmless and utterly lame. For him and his agent to threaten a lawsuit is fucking pathetic. No thanks, I’ll stick with Hojlund.

Looks like Osimhen will definitely be moving, either in Jan or in the Summer.
Cataclysmic own goal from Napoli.

Barcelona to target Sancho, Martial in January? Barcelona are interested in signing Manchester United forwards Jadon Sancho and Anthony Martial in the January transfer window, reports Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.
Sancho currently faces an uncertain future at Old Trafford after being exiled from the first-team squad following a public disagreement with manager Erik ten Hag.
The winger claimed the Dutchman's criticism of his training standards was unfair and suggested he had been made a "scapegoat" at United in a now-deleted social media post.
Martial, meanwhile, has struggled with injuries over the past couple of seasons and a regular place in the United side is under threat due to the £72m summer arrival of Rasmus Hojlund.

Barca are more likely to be targeting avoiding bankruptcy if the latest bribery charges crystalize into truth.

Barcelona are broke so they are just trying to line up some cheap loan moves. I doubt we will get much in the way of cash out of them.
Sancho has refused moves to Saudi Arabia but a loan move to Barcelona will probably appeal to his ego. And there is a chance that if he is fired up and resentful he might make an impact there which will increase our chances of getting some money for him in the summer. Clearly a situation where he remains in permanent exile here is no good for anyone and he's burned bridges with Erik so a loan move makes a lot of sense.
Martial we need to keep until the summer when we can afford another striker. If we let him go on loan in January we have no one to replace him. Hojlund's back problems may recur and at a young age we don't want him to burn out. Rashford is useless upfront. So we have to keep Martial for now and manage his fitness as best we can. When he is fit he can make an important contribution. And there are no disciplinary issues. So it is an entirely different situation from Sancho.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but didn't we pay off that credit facility so we would be a better asset to sell? If so, hopefully the thought of no Europe next year will push the gimps into using some for Osi at least
