Can we send Amrabat back to Florence and bring back Fred? Mctominay should have left before Fred. 100%

Ce fac! That’s all I got, but I have many Romanian friends here in Cleveland. Sunt bine, mulțumesc de întrebare. 😁 Ha, that's nice to hear. Didn't know there is a fairly large Romanian community in Cleveland. There’s a sizable community of just about every eastern bloc nationality here in Cleveland. Suburbs are pretty diverse with culture.

May as well close the thread TBF his signings have been hit and miss at best so i don't blame the club for being cautious(if true SJR could be behind this decision so he can work on the positions above him before any future spending). 2 or 3 ins and outs via half seasons loans may not be a bad way forward.

Erik hasn't properly integrated the summer signings so it would be a mistake to give him any more players at this point. Especially as without the new structure in place he'd be doing the picking.
With Ole when he was struggling we bought Bruno and that papered over lots of cracks and we kept Ole for almost 2 more years.
I would much rather see if Erik can turn the season around with the resources he has at his disposal. If he can do that and finish top 4 then I would have more confidence that he is the right man for the job and deserves proper backing in the summer (albeit with a lot more scrutiny over his shortlist and additional input from the positions above him).

The real focus is sales and rightly so. Sancho and DVB must be sold, add Martial. Incomings Striker is a must as Hojlund can't do it all

Ironically our two best players so far this season are Maguire & McT . ETH & most of us wanted both sold in the summer window

#mufc are willing to listen to offers on a series of high-profile players. All of Casemiro, Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho are available for transfer, although the club will be flexible on other squad members. [@migueldelaney]
Sancho yes but Casemiro? The guy was phenomenal last year.

The guy was phenomenal last year. Poor this year, he has looked a complete shadow of the player he is, slow, poor game reading and 32 in Feb..... If the Saudi's come in with the cash, it's a sell for me. I cannot see him reaching the heights of last year albeit I do believe he will get better.

Current transfer team are hopeless at player sales. So I cannot imagine anything getting done in January. Which is probably for the best. Varane and Casemiro were very good for us last season and I don't think they became bad players overnight. I suspect they were affected by Erik's overly rigorous training sessions and the imbalances in the side caused by Martinez getting injured and Erik trying to fit Mount and Bruno into the same team.
I can see Casemiro eventually taking over from Scotty in a more advanced role as he is also a goal threat but his all round game is better and he will probably benefit from having Amrabat alongside him. I'd also be interested in seeing a Casemiro Mainoo partnership.
As for Varane he has an excellent understanding with Martinez so when Martinez is back from injury then that partnership would improve our defence immeasurably. On the other hand Varane does seem to struggle to stay fit so if we could get £30m or so for him and use the proceeds to buy someone like Todibo I'd be all for that.

Casemiro should be one of the first out of West get a serious offer in Jan, great last year but his legs have gone, and it has been shown plenty times this year, all in all just another terrible piece of business by the club once again.
