What is he even on about ‘Don’t believe what you read’? His manager said it! Don't want to hear the mental health/personal problems bullshit either. He's been here 3 years and I'm yet to see him or fucking Martial play football with smile on their face. Mental health has become such a fucking easy stand for these lazy overpaid bastards to hang their hat on. Fucking cunts you’re making that much money to kick a ball about what the fuck are you sad about.

I think back to the early 80's, when I first started supporting United as a young kid, and try to think of any players throughout the 80's, 90's, and 00's that I hated. Or even just disliked. And can't think of any. Sure there were players who simply weren't good enough. Darren Ferguson, Lee Martin, Russell Beardsmore, Danny Wallace, from the early days. Kleberson, Liam Miller, David Bellion, Gabby Obertan, Bebe, from the later days. But I didn't hate any of them, they tried their best, weren't at the level we needed and moved on. Such is football. But now? From Maguire, to Sancho. Pogba and Martial. Greenwood. Henderson. Utterly dislikeable individuals the lot of them. Says so much about where the club has been heading that we've had so many of these type of players stinking the place out. Good character and mental strength is so underrated. Fergie had a nack for finding it and he could smell complacency a mile off. The difference between now and then is players today can earn 3m a year and stink the place out. Maguire had opportunities to leave but choose money over playing. Says it all really.

Fucking furious with that from Sancho.
I was a massive advocate of signing him... I'm yet to have myself proved about it yet, with a single game.
TH made a point of giving him special treatment and what has he had in return?
Same category as Martial now.

Tail’s been wagging the dog for years . A real player would make Ten Hag eat those words by performing but this lot go to social media or have their agents leak shit to the press. That's the modern game folks. Looking forward to the Rugby WC, so I don't have to watch them for a while.

Maguire had opportunities to leave but choose money over playing. Says it all really. This. No other manager seems anywhere near being able to get it right. Ole brought Maguire in for his character. Jesus Christ. Jose, even with his experience, still managed to sign Mkhitaryan, the absolute cowardly bottle job. We get the odd one right like Zlatan or Casemiro, Onana seems like it too. But time and time again get it wrong and have the worst kind of footballers here. Sancho is the biggest disgrace of them all, to me. Never once seen him look happy at this club. Mopes about, puts in zero effort, produces next to nothing on the pitch; it's at the point where if he plays a half way decent pass or two in a game we sit around and say "Oh I though Sancho did quite well, some good moments." Like, did he fuck! This is an 85M attacker and we've lowered expectations to the point that the most basic of skills has us thinking he's done something special.

He's right on the first sentence. Sancho got a break for that reason but he he has spat that back in ETH's face, who undoubtedly made an extra special effort for him.

The mental health thing is so hard.
It's not like a bone, muscle, or tendon injury. You can't examine someone and say "yup, there it is, that's snapped/pulled/strained etc".
The "There's nowt wrong with yer lad, pull your bloody socks up and get on wit' it" attitude is absolutely a backward Neanderthal attitude than belongs back in the dark ages, 100%.
But do we really think no one would ever use it simply as an excuse? Christ, I have! I wanted 2 weeks off work to go on holiday to Malta with my girlfriend, so went to the GP and told a bullshit story about having panic attacks on my way to work, having no one to talk too and feeling alone and worthless, etc etc. Got a sick note for a month, fucked off on holiday. Am I proud I did it? Not really, but I was a daft young kid, coincidentally about the same age Sancho is.
I'm not suggesting Sancho is faking anything but it's not something we'd really know either way.

Reminds me of the Mou spat with Pogba. Manager defends player, cuts him some slack and then gets it thrown back in his face. The culture at Manchester United is rancid!

Rasmus looked like a player who could’ve started that game. I get not wanting to rush players back but when Martial is the alternative you kind of have no choice.
However, as much as we can look at mistakes by manager and players, finishing that game with Maguire/Evans at CB and a knackered OAP midfield pairing of Casemiro/Eriksen is the fault of no-one but the ownership.
We played well, didn’t deserve to lose and if we had the quality of players to come in that we should have, we wouldn’t have lost the game.

Positives are that Amrabat is probably just what the doctor ordered in midfield and Hojlund looks like he's going to be a big hit and Garnacho still has the X factor.
Negatives are that we finished the game with Leicester alumni in central defence and that backline was always going to leak goals and the way things are going with injuries both could feature quite a bit this winter. Also it was unprofessional to concede so quickly after opening the scoring and to let in such a late winner and then let them score a third. Last season we looked a lot better in the big games but losing against Tottenham and Arsenal already this season is very disappointing to say the least.
Sancho thing is a little concerning. ETH obviously breaking the cardinal rule of naming and shaming. But Sancho's reaction reveals a thin skinned player who cannot handle criticism and he's surely burnt his bridges.

At home yes, but away? Man City - 6-3 Liverpool - 7-0 Arsenal - 3-2 Newcastle - 2-0 Sevilla - 3-0 We've been horseshit away from home under ETH and it's one of the things he absolutely has to change, and soon.
