Jadon sancho does not have mental health problems. He’s got an attitude and hard work problem. It would be insulting to actual people going through real mental health problems to even allow that man to use that excuse. |

The mental health thing is so hard. It's not like a bone, muscle, or tendon injury. You can't examine someone and say "yup, there it is, that's snapped/pulled/strained etc". The "There's nowt wrong with yer lad, pull your bloody socks up and get on wit' it" attitude is absolutely a backward Neanderthal attitude than belongs back in the dark ages, 100%. But do we really think no one would ever use it simply as an excuse? Christ, I have! I wanted 2 weeks off work to go on holiday to Malta with my girlfriend, so went to the GP and told a bullshit story about having panic attacks on my way to work, having no one to talk too and feeling alone and worthless, etc etc. Got a sick note for a month, fucked off on holiday. Am I proud I did it? Not really, but I was a daft young kid, coincidentally about the same age Sancho is. I'm not suggesting Sancho is faking anything but it's not something we'd really know either way. Someone in my office was let go for trying to pull this lol 😂 They took 2 weeks off to travel with friends and rather than keep a low profile they got tagged on IG on a bunch of photos and got snitched on. Mental health is hard to diagnose, and very easy to abuse as an excuse. I’m honestly tired of every non performing, lazy git using it to get away with not working hard. If the manager said he’s been shit in training I’m going to go with that rather than the nonsensical mental health narrative. |

Disgrace of a professional.
Rashford dropped for being late, accepted it and said it’s the right call.
Maguire dropped for poor performances, hasn’t gone out on social media to call out his manager.
Garnacho, called out by manager and teammate, just got his head down and worked harder.
Sancho after 3 years of delivering very little is called out by his manager and puts out a social media statement!
That has shown his character. He is not getting my support moving forward, Murtough just needs to find a buyer between now and January.

Sancho got a break for that reason but he he has spat that back in ETH's face, who undoubtedly made an extra special effort for him. Don't want to speak for him but I sense his frustration. Ten Hag has been pretty accommodating with Sancho, yet the first mildly negative thing he says is meet with this bullshit statement. This is the exact reason why managers say nothing of note in front of the press because they'll make two Sunday roasts out of it. As supporters we judge him on his performances and at some point he has to deliver irrespective of what problems he has. |

i respect a lot of your opinions mate. but i do hope you can differentiate between "being sad" and mental health issues/depression. This Decade’s ago mental heath was definitely overlooked and people where told “just get on with it” but the pendulum has definitely swung a bit too far in the other direction and being used as an excuse in some cases for poor performance. Its a bit like any badly behaved kid who always seem to have some sort of disorder these days rather than lack of discipline. |

Rather ironically one of our better away performances under ETH.
This team is never going to score enough goals to consistently bother the top sides.
One or two still not prepared to commit to a tackle for fear of injury.
