It won't happen but there needs to be a baseline for wages. Then add on performance related incentives. Far too many of these players are on stupid wages or have recently been given stupid wages and are yet to justify them.

Players need incentives, ours are rewarded even before they’re shit.

Players are no better for all this money. The standard of players is dogshit. I can count on one hand the number of world class strikers in the game. At one point we had 4 in our team. The standards are fucking shit now. Most of our buying is panic buying though. The owners get to August, realise the supporters are about to protest and they just buy whoever appears in the paper. I don't think they really ever think about who their buying. |
